About this property

Cozy Greenport village cottage

Family friendly cottage, nestled in a quiet street in Greenport village. The private property has fully fenced backyard, 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, wood burning fireplace, fully stocked kitchen, outdoor seating, and gas grill. The property is in a double lot with a pool and a pool-house on the second lot, secluded from the listed home. The pool/pool-house are not part of the rental.

The bedroom descriptions are as follows:

Master bedroom is downstairs with a king bed and an ensuite.
In addition to a fully stocked kitchen, dining and laundry area, the downstairs also has a living room with another bathroom, TV, two sofas and access to a serene, private patio. The dining area has a wood burning stove for winter nights that warms up the dining space.

There are three bedrooms upstairs with two queen beds in two rooms and a set of bunk bed (a queen and a full bed) in the third bedroom. One of the queen bedrooms have an ensuite. The other two rooms share one large full bathroom.

There are two sets of stairs from downstairs to access the bedrooms upstairs.

There is also an outside patio in our backyard with a bbq and patio with dining area. Plenty of greenery in our backyard provides for room for kids to play while dinner is prepared and enjoyed outdoors.

The house is situated in one of a double lot property. The two lots are separated by fence and lush garden with plenty of privacy. The house is in the larger of the two lots (nearly half an acre) with a gated entrance and driveway for two cars. There is also on street parking by the fence of the property. Guests have access to everything on this one lot.

We provide all linens and towels. We do not have any beach chairs and do not suggest that our towels are taken to the beach. Please bring your own beach towels, if desired. If cleaning the towels at the house, please shake sands off them outside the house so laundry machine is not damaged due to the sand.

Great place

I stayed here with my parents and two children. We had a great time. The house is great and has so many bathrooms! It’s an easy walk into town but also on a quiet street. Would highly recommend!

Weekend away

We had a great stay and were so impressed with the space, room/bathroom options, and location of the house! We traveled with kids and the house was equipped with so many useful items (towels in all of the bathrooms, plastic dishware, utensils, aluminum foil, garbage bags, etc). The board games were a fun surprise too! We walked into town and made use of the yard space. We were very happy with this property.

I stayed here with my wife, 2 kids, and some extended family. House was clean and very cute. The 4 Bathrooms make it easy to stay with multiple people and gives everyone their privacy. Location is great, quiet neighborhood and easy walk to town. Would definitely stay again!

Great Beach Weekend

The location was amazing and the backyard space perfect for grilling and hanging out. The bedrooms were comfortable and well appointed and there were lots of bathrooms plus and excellent outdoor shower. Harun was prompt in his replies to our questions. The only difficulty we had was that we thought the couch in the living room was a foldout but it isn't and Harun already said that he would update the listing. Highly recommend.

Fantastic All Around

Harun and his family have a great house, in a great location! He was incredibly quick to respond to my messages via VRBO and via Text - and was very accommodating. We made a long weekend into a family get together - Family of 4 (M,F,10,8) Family of 3 (M,F,2) and couple (M,F) and we fit perfectly in this house. LOCATION ON LI: Walking distance to downtown Greenport with amazing restaurants, ice cream, shops and the carousel was hit with the kids. We were not far from wineries - especially those that have large grounds (kid friendly). We went to one about 10 minutes away. We went to the Riverhead Aquarium - very cute - a 30 minute drive. We had thoughts to go to Shelter Island for part of a day and bike around, but decided against it at the last minute - the ferry to Shelter Island is walking distance. 5th Street Beach was fantastic - you can walk from the house, and its has a very cute playground with a decent amount of shade. There is a small beach with loads of shells, cool stones and sea glass. Could swim if you wanted to! HOUSE: Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make meals. Sleeping: the beds were very comfortable and each major room had fans and a window air conditioner unit to keep us cool. Bathrooms - so many bathrooms, very convenient with 9 people! Back Yard - beautifully landscaped, and lots of fenced in green space for the kids to run around in. There was a lovely outdoor table that we ate at - there is a good amount of shade in the back yard thanks to the tall trees framing the property. PARKING We had a sedan and a pickup truck - we fit both into the driveway, which then has a gate that closes you in. There appeared to also be many cars parked on the street itself.

Greenport is a quaint village and has a lot of activities. Our house is situated 10 minutes' walk from the village, in a quiet part of the town. It has a private fence, creating an ideal space for your private stay and enjoyment with your family. Greenport town has many renowned restaurants. There are wineries, breweries, distilleries, local farms, beaches, Shelter Island and Connecticut ferries - all within 10-20 min drive away.
