Welcome to The Sandy Crab - A luxury waterfront vacation home in Mexico Beach, FL!
Waterfront in back (with canal to the Gulf); Dock to tie-up your boat, jetski, kayak, etc.; Huge pool and hot tub; A short 700 ft. walk to the beach; Garage parking; A 'kids' bedroom with a bunk bed; Cable and Wifi; Smart TV; Fully equipped kitchen; Newly remodeled with gorgeous furnishings; And lots of little extras like board games, books and other touches to make it feel like home.

Great Stay!

This house far exceeded expectations. The walk to the beach was very easy, less than 3 minutes. We brought our own beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. but this place had it all and then some. The house itself is very spacious, clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

A great place to stay!

The Sandy Crab was a great place to stay. It had plenty of room, very clean and a great location. We enjoyed our stay at Mexico Beach and the Sandy Crab was perfect!

This Location was a lot of fun. It’s very spacious and clean. The canal in the back was a great spot to park my Waverunners. Cindy was easy to get into contact with, and check in and check out process was rather simple and straightforward.

Enjoyable stay!

This property was just as it shows and great location to the beach. We enjoyed all of the wonderfully stocked extras including a wagon for the beach and beach chairs! The owner was very quick to respond and good to work with…the whole experience was super smooth and highly recommended!

Relaxing!

Such a quiet area, yet just a short walk to the beach. We were so happy we could extend our stay! The Sandy Crab was clean and nicely furnished, we felt right at home!

Perfect place! The beach is a quick walk across the street, and the pool is seen from the back yard. We had everything we needed. Thank you, Cindy, for being a great host!

Beach Beauty

This property was perfect for our family vacation. The house is very clean and equipped with all the amenities you might need. The community pool is large and clean. The beach access is a very short stroll from the front door. The property manager was excellent. She promptly responded to all inquiries. Would stay here again. Mexico Beach is a gem!

RELAXING

We spent a week at the Sandy Crab with our 3 college age daughters and had the best opportunity to just relax. The walk to the beach is short and easy, the beach chairs and umbrella made the beach comfy! The house was cool and had plenty of comfortable seating and beds. We enjoyed the decks and walking to the pool and hot tub as well. We drive down to Port St Joe for delicious grouper at Krazy Fish and ice cream and the Sugar Shack. We came to relax and Mexico Beach and the Sandy crab did not disappoint!

Perfect

This house was beautiful, it was everything we could have asked for. The location was perfect short and I’m mean short walk to beach. Beach was not crowded at all. Loved the pool and hot tub they were both real big. The house has plenty of towels and the beds were so comfortable. They were like being at home. Everyone was nice we had no issues at all. Was one of the nicest places I have stayed at. I would not have changed one thing about this place

The Perfect Place

Our host Cindy was amazing and over the top helpful! She responded quickly with thoughtful answers to every question. The home was very clean and also had an extra feel of home! So many thoughtful extras around the house had us well stocked for our vacation. The location felt safe. Very quiet and peaceful area. Easy access to the beach. It seemed they were doing some off season mantaince around the pool/dock area and they were thoughtful in their work and we were still able to enjoy the area! If I could give Cindy and her home more then 5 stars I would!! Rent this house and enjoy a relaxing trip! We would gladly rent from Cindy again!

Beautiful property

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful beach home! The house itself was stunning—bright, clean, and full of charming beachy touches that made it feel both relaxing and fun. We stayed with our family and grandson, and it was the perfect setup for making memories together.The amenities were excellent and made our stay so comfortable. While there was quite a bit of seaweed in the ocean early in our trip, it cleared out nicely before we left, and we were able to enjoy the beach even more. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would absolutely return!Oh…and Cindy was quick to answer all our questions. Thanks Cindy!

I'm Cindy! :) My husband and I own The Sandy Crab, our wonderful vacation home in Mexico Beach, FL. I have lived in the panhandle of Florida for most of my life - And really enjoy living the coastal life. We love to host guests at The Sandy Crab and hope to see you soon! :)

Mexico Beach is an amazing place - It's a small beach town not covered-up with overcrowding and traffic (like some of our neighboring cities); Where enjoying the beach, and wildlife, and the relaxation of vacation is so much easier. One of my favorite things to do is curl up in the living room swing chair with coffee and a book from the library, or walk out to the beach for some sun and a piña colada. If you're looking for a relaxing and revitalizing beach vacation, The Sandy Crab is right for you. :)

There is a community pool and hot tub for your enjoyment during your stay, as well as private community boat docks to use for your watercraft during your stay. The canal behind our home leads right out to the Gulf of Mexico! :)
We pride ourselves on creating a very comfortable and relaxing environment for our guests - from luxury beds and and linens to a small library and other finishing touches. Our genuine hope is that you and your guests feel 'at home' during your stay.
*Please Note* - We do have 2 Ring doorbell cameras - 1 at the front and 1 at the side door - as well as a camera on our garage opener, that we use to keep our rental secured when we do not have guests. We don't actively monitor these after guests arrive, but they are always on, so please keep that in mind.
