Our Tiny Texas House is a beautiful Victorian cottage custom made from period reclaimed building materials. The attention to detail is astounding in this work of art. The cottage features vintage stained glass windows, antique wood floors and trim. Climb the ladder to the sleeping loft and sleep soundly in the plush king size bed. Enjoy a relaxing soak in the porcelain tub and shower.
The kitchenette contains an induction cooker, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, refrigerator, pots, pans, plates and silverware. Outside you will find a front porch with chairs and a patio area with your own private hot tub, gas grill and garden.
The Tiny House is conveniently located near all the most desirable Hill Country attractions. The world famous Guadalupe River is 10 minutes, Gruene is 20 minutes, Canyon Lake is less than 5 minutes, San Marcos Outlet Malls are 30 minutes and Wimberley is only 25 minutes.

Jean & Justin welcome you to our newest addition - The Tiny Texas House.
Justin Robinson purchased this cottage in 2009
We added the Tiny Texas House to the 12 acres to compliment the cabin and cottage we already rent on the property. This new unit is so unique. Everything from the doors, floors, windows, lumber, porch posts, glass, door hardware, and even the siding has been saved and re-used to create houses that we hope will last for a century or more.
Come and relax in this architectural beauty. A miniature Victorian nestled on a quiet piece of the hill country. Just minutes from Canyon Lake and the Guadalupe River. Tiny yet so spacious. The vaulted ceilings give a feeling of immense space. This unit is perfect for a romantic getaway for two!
We celebrated our 19th anniversary at the Tiny House. We had celebrated our 16th anniversary here a few years ago and we were excited to get back. We were pleasantly surprised by the changes...a privacy fence was built and a hammock was in the yard. The owners have a guest book available for comments and it was neat to see our comments from August 2011. After reading through the comments of other guests, it was clear to see that the owners really take the suggestions to heart and implement as many as possible. We could definitely tell that our bodies didn't move up and down the ladder as easily as a few years ago, but it was fun. It is a romantic getaway and a must for a couple with kids who need to get away to make sure "You still like each other."
Very nice little place to stay. Almost everything you would need is there, I really liked using the Magnaflux cook-top, I see one in my future! The bed is very comfortable and the hot tub under the stars was really nice (needs a little step up though!) The only thing I would change would be to add hooks for hanging jackets and bags on, and maybe a few folding shelves for larger bags. Also, the kitchen chairs are nice antiques and they force you to be perfectly still whilst sitting on them for fear of collapse. Other than that, if you're looking for the Tiny Home experience, this would be a great place to get a taste!
