So amazing it even blew Hurricane Lane away
Our family of 6 incl. 4 boys aged 6, 15, 18 and 20 have had the best time ever here.
And that is despite Hurricane Lane and it’s clouds, wind and rain being on our doorstep the entire week.
The villa is fantastic, it was nice and clean, modern but tasteful with everything you need.
The WiFi was great all week which is very important for the kids of course.
The beds were comfy, the chairs comfy and sitting on the lanai for breakfast or a glass of wine listening to the birds and sea was lovely.
We stocked up on food and drink, mainly cos of HL but that saved us loads of money. All the shops are within 15 minute drive max / dept stores like Macys or closer you have Target, Walmart, Safeway, Foodland and Costco plus lots of others and fast food places but we really liked the short 10min walk to Ko Olina shops and restaurants.
The resort itself was perfect. 2 swimming pools which we used daily. The ‘quiet’ one is lovely / you can still play in it but be respectful of other guest. But the kids inc the big ones were more than happy with the large lagoon pool which splits to a smaller toddler one.
Water in both was gorgeous and the 3 hot tubs are super.
Past the pools you have the bar which was good with live music on Tue and Fridays, and then a secure gate leads to the beach lagoon.
The beach lagoon is amazing. Pure paradise and we went everyday for a swim and a snorkel (we did see a turtle on Day 2) or to play ball, frisbee etc.
Oh and for the most incredible sunset we have ever seen (and we’ve been to a lot of places). Just a shame we only got to glimpse one due to the clouds.
Both the beach and pool were never busy and we always got a sun bed.
You could walk along the beach front to the other hotels which both sell snacks at pretty reasonable prices.
In the evenings everyone was happy to get back to our wonderful villa to relax, watch TV or a movie on the DVad player and catch up on the world via their mobiles!
Our greeter (Cherie) was fab. Very friendly, met us on time and showed us how everything worked.
The owners (Brandy and Mat) always responded to my questions before our stay.
We had no questions or problems during it whatsoever so we had no need to contact them or the local property manager but due to the hurricane Brandy did check we were ok which was appreciated.
We are flying out in a few hours and it’s blue sky for the first time in 7 days. Wish we had longer but we will be back and would only want to stay here again.
