Great location for access to wineries. Host very responsive. We were there as the weather changed so can vouch both the heat and air conditioner worked well, plenty of hot water for all the guests showers. Appreciate the extra blankets, toilet paper etc we found in storage closet. Had a fun weekend here playing board games on long table and the screened in porch was a plus.
The property was perfect for the eight of us who met there for the Frontier Festival. The location was within a 5 minute drive from almost everything in Fredericksburg. We would definitely stay there again.
The house worked perfect for our friend weekend get-away to Fredericksburg! Home was very clean and comfortable. We all loved both patios to enjoy our morning coffees watchng the sunrise.
We had the perfect stay. Beautiful porch for wine in the evenings. It was very close to all the wineries and Main Street for shopping and dining. We had our entire family stay for a hill country getaway for a 21st bday celebration and we couldn’t have chosen a more ideal home. It was so big and has so much space for really having some privacy but being together.
The host never sent arrival instructions, and I didn't think about it till we were parked in the driveway. It took 30 minutes to finally get the access code. We never got instructions but there was a book inside that we went by. There is a window on the front of the house that does not lock. The front porch has some rotting wood and missing planks. The front patio area was dirty and dusty and there was some type of animal dung on it. There was a huge ant bed on the walkway up to the front door. The main bathroom had damage to the floor and the doorknob was about to fall off. The dishwasher makes a ton of noise. The first morning there we found out the coffee maker did not work. After contacting the host, we found the new coffee maker. It was fairly clean inside and accomadated our needs.
The home is 3 minutes from downtown. It has a huge yard and covered parking.you can easily fit 4 vehicles. You walk in to the living room and dining room. There are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on this side, a smaller very cozy bedroom and a huge bedroom with lots of light, a seating area, and a door to the bathroom. The bathroom is long and slim with a tub and another entrance from the livingroom. So, thats one side. Then you go thru the kitchen and laundry area and to the right is a big bedroom with french soors ro the back yard, to the left is the 2nd bathroom; go through the bathroom to the 2nd living room,
We loved the house but it’s not an actual 5 bedroom. It’s 4 bedroom with two living areas. In each living area, there are two couches that can slept on.There’s a large screened in porch that we loved sitting in because the weather was perfect.Fredericksburg is so fun at Christmas. Our preteen girls ice skated downtown. We shopped. We ate. We talked. So much fun!

Thank you for your positive review and glad your stay was lovely. We hope the listing is not showing 5 bedrooms because from our side it says 4 bedrooms. The information is accurate and there is plenty of additional space to hang out and chase for sleeping too.
