It should be noted the host compensated one of my nights. There were small grub like insects (I’m assuming maggots) that just started showing up in one of the upstairs bedrooms. We would kill some and then there were more and more. Even on the bed. Having to make new arrangements at 10pm at night is not a way to spend a vacation. I never heard what they did about the issue.

As soon as the issue was reported, we arranged for pest control to come out immediately to inspect and treat the area. We also provided compensation for the affected night. We take matters like this very seriously and have addressed the issue to ensure it does not happen again. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.
