SUMMER - Some of the best hiking in Washington State! Near the North Nooksack River. Kayak and mountain bike. Cook out on the grill and enjoy the expansive deck with hot tub and fire pit and new lounge furniture. Laze around the cabin and enjoy the peace and quiet, play board games, put together puzzles or watch movies in our well equipped home.

WINTER - Ski or board at Mt. Baker. Cross country and snowshoe around the National Forest. After your snowy adventure - warm up by the fireplace in our cozy cabin.

Fantastic kitchen to cook in. Salt/Pepper - basic spices and olive oil will always be stocked.

Fiber Optic internet - as well as wi-fi calling. Netflix and Hulu on the tube - as well as library of DVD (yes old school!). Also a Beat's Pill to listen to your tunes.

Coffee and tea will always be stocked - because - it makes the mornings even better.

Your dog will have as much fun and you.

Snowline is like being nestled in a comfortable campground - BUT with BEAUTIFUL cabins instead of tents. The neighborhood is lovely and friendly. In the summers the pool, pickle-ball, tennis and basketball courts are open. Also fishing in the stocked trout pound. Playground for the little ones is open year round. All of this 18 miles down the hill from fabulous skiing and snow boarding at Mt Baker that boasts the snowfall record in all of the USA.

We had a lovely stay at Friluftsliv! Comfy beds, well stocked kitchen equipment, big table for puzzles and dining, and a beautiful covered porch with child/dog safety gates. The electric fireplace was great for cool evenings. For warm evenings, note that there are no screens on the windows and mosquitos abound. Host was responsive and accommodating when we forgot a dog bed and needed to pick it up later. Good location within Snowline, we would definitely stay here again.

Julia! Sorry about the lack of screens - the cabin was still getting the final touches of its new paint job between guests and the painter had not put the screens back on yet! Screens are back on ready to protect guests from thirsty mosquitoes!

Close location to countless trailheads. kitchen was more than sufficient to make dinner for six. Chair 9 restaurant across the street is fun for a drink or meal. Would stay here again! Host Jenny was very quick and easy to communicate with.

Lovely Cabin in the Woods!

We had a great one-night stay on our way from Montana to the San Juan Islands. The cabin is well-appointed and very comfortable and clean. We truly enjoyed hiking at Mount Baker as well as the small town of Glacier.

Mt Baker Ski-cation

Jenny was the perfect host, her cabin was better than photos show - extremely comfortable, cozy, and relaxing. The hot tub was fantastic too. I highly recommend her place in Snowline…the entire area is beautiful and close to Mt Baker ski resort which is a phenomenal ski destination vacation. This place won’t disappoint in any way!

The cabin is absolutely perfect for a vacation! The house is well stocked with supplies, kitchen tools and fun little touches like VHS and DVDs for the kids to entertain themselves. Jenny is very helpful and communicative and we felt right at home. Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing weekend.

Handsome cabin surrounded by trees

Beautiful cabin, but not in a secluded setting as expected. It's located in a nice neighborhood, surrounded by lots of other houses.

Hello Jimmy- Sorry you were disappointed with the fact that we are in a development. Snowline is as natural of a development as you can have, full of trees and with secluded trails to the river just a short walk away. There is tons of forest service roads/ hiking trails within a few minutes drive. The benefits of being in a development are the community amenities like the playground, trout pond, ball fields, tennis, pickleball, swimming pool and plowed roads in the winter. Hopefully everything else was to your liking. James

Comfort and mountains

A great cabin in beautiful surroundings. We went on hikes and enjoyed relaxing at the cabin we were very comfortable. The neighborhood was very charming and there are walks from the cabin. Our host was super. I would definitely go back!

A fun cabin to get together

A comfortable stay for 5 , a great neighborhood to walk around, playground and pool The deck was nice to relax on as well as the living room and upstairs landing Only disappointment was the hot tub was broken and we weren’t aware of this till we got there

The perfect mountain get away!

We had the best stay in this cabin. Perfectly located so we could go for beautiful morning hikes right from the neighborhood, and within short drives to the Mount Baker trails. Though the cabin was dog friendly, it was very nicely appointed, it really felt like home to us, but was still quite cozy and special. We stayed in the fall, ( OCT) and the seasonal scenery was stunning. The cabin was well stocked so we cooked most meals at home to enjoy the cozy fireplace and setting. We for sure want to return!

Loved it!

Updated clean nice! Stocked kitchen comfy beds. Lots of movies! The vcr didn’t quite work very well but that was our only issue. Would definitely go back.

House was well stocked and extremely clean. Notes were left in the house for us and that were helpful during our stay. Jenny kept us informed of closures in the area so that we could make decisions on how to plan our day. Instructions were clear on house and gate procedures. Highly recommend this home.

Wonderful as always

Wonderful place as always. The community rules have changed as of this year unfortunately and some amenities are no longer available, but Jenny was very communicative about that from the start. My kids loved the loft area and made it their own space which was so fun! There are retractable gates across porch openings as well which makes it a nice dog friendly porch now. Love it!

Great location in quiet gated cabin community. Cabin was spacious and comfortable. Access was tricky, and there is no phone service. But otherwise a wonderful rental.

Sorry you had problems with your phone. Yes there is no cell phone service in in glacier - but your phone does work in the cabin if you turn it on wi-fi calling. It seems since our internet service was upgraded to fiber - that we are having issues with dialing the house from the gate to buzz people in. You now have to have the fob until we figure it out. So sorry you had those issues! Jenny

Beautiful cozy cabin close to Mt. Baker skiing!

Couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay while here for a few days of skiing. A modern cabin with a gas fireplace that kept us cozy, and plenty of bedroom and loft space to spread out. Everything was clean and well-appointed, including a great kitchen for cooking. The owners are great, communicated quickly with everything we needed to know. It felt like home away from home!
