We got to book this amazing home for the Halloween weekend! The decor was amazing and the communication and recommendations from our host were spot on! Walking distance to everything Salem!

Wedding Weekend in Salem

My parents and I stayed at Meg’s house while in town for a family wedding. The house was great - very clean, exactly as advertised, and a short walk to both the water and downtown. And Meg was a great host! Would recommend staying here.

Great stay for Halloween festivities

The property was exactly as advertised, decorated nicely and very on theme for Halloween time. Central to basically everything you would want to walk to in Salem for the Halloween weekend. The property owner/manager Meg communicated well and check-in/accessing the building was very easy.

Girls Birthday Getaway!

We had an amazing time at this darling home. We were walking distance from everything--including the water! The decor was perfect for a fall visit to Salem, the accommodations were comfortable and homey and Meg was a truly gracious host. We will be back!

Perfect Location in Salem!!

Absolutely beautiful home, clean and well appointed with everything we needed. The location was walking distance to anything you could want to see in town as well as steps from the ocean, light house, and pier. Gracious host provided a list of the best restaurants, coffee, and breakfast around. We will definitely plan another trip there in the future. Thanks Meg!

There are not enough superlatives to describe our stay in Salem at "The Witch'sDen"! Meg is hands down the most amazing host I've ever encountered . The house is charming, beautifully decorated and oh, so comfortable. (The beds are dreamy). The location of the house puts you right in the heart of Salem.I'm not much of a walker, and when I tell you everything you want to see is an easy stroll away, I am not exaggerating.As far as I'm concerned there is no place else to stay in this town. Meg... thank you for making our stay so amazing and memorable. We couldn't have done it without you!

Best VRBO Stay Ever!!

This was the best experience I've ever had with a vacation home! Meg was so communicative, thoughtful, and helpful. She truly made our experience in Salem magical. I stayed here with my partner, brother, and sister-in-law, and the home was super comfortable, and we had plenty of space for all of us. From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the amazing home and the thoughtful touches. The kitchen was well-equipped, the beds and bedding were incredibly comfortable, and the bathrooms were well-stocked with toiletries. The decor, amenities, and details were all amazing! And the location literally cannot be beat. I hope to stay here again!

Awesome Place!

Property was amazing, super close to everything and the house was all decorated up for Halloween! Meg was really responsive when I had questions and tried her best to make sure our stay was great, and it was. Salem is a great town but if you go in October, just be mindful of parking & research the parking garages in town. There is one right down the street within walking distance of the house, super easy to access! That is where we parked and just walked to everything we wanted to see since the house is so close to all of the destinations that Salem has to offer. We will definitely be back!

The Witches Den

Visited Salem for Father’s Day/Birthday trip. Found the property with ease. Check in was no issue. Best stocked VRBO we have ever seen, been using since originally was Homeaway app. The location is perfect to see all of Salem as everything is in walking distance. I really enjoyed the peaceful vibe and was able to rest well at night. Oh, and amen was just a text away with any questions!!! Definitely go to Mercy Tavern and Finz!!!! Great stay and we will be back to finish our Salem to do list soon!

Getaway

We stayed for almost a week in a great location . We enjoyed our stay but there were a few things that I was hoping for. There were no washcloths through the home - even the kitchen to wipe counters down . There was not any microwave to cook or warm leftovers up . We couldn’t get the oven to work either .

Hi Denise! Glad you enjoyed your stay! Paper towels are always out for counter tops as I find that the most sanitary so you can dispose after wiping food down! In terms of the no microwave… that is mentioned on the listing page. The oven is working fully, I wish you had reached out during your stay w this issue and I could have assisted in helping you turn it on! Sorry for any inconveniences but I am very happy you enjoyed the home and Salem!

The GEM of Salem!!

I have stayed at many vacation rentals in many parts of the country. This one however was a step above them all. To be able to make a place built so long ago feel so welcoming and decorated to the nines is amazing. Besides that you are in the heart of Salem with all the witches. We walked every where all weekend long. Meg is a great host with amazing taste. Can only give it an A++++. Thanks for the stay and I know where we will be staying on our next trip that way.

Perfection

Meg’s home is absolutely gorgeous. The wow factor hit us right when we walked in the door. It was so comfy and cozy. Loved the amazing Halloween decor, it gave it a fun, classy, but spooky vibe… which is what everyone wants in Salem right? It was just merely steps away from the ocean. We fell in love with the quaint, coastal town feel you get in that location. Side note - currently trying to talk the hubby into moving there. 😅 That’s how much we loved it. We were in walking distance to everything. Although we did Uber a few times (we did a TON of walking and needed a break, lol). Getting an Uber was super easy and no wait. Meg was very attentive and accommodating whenever I had a question. Honestly can’t find one thing to complain about. We plan to return there next year. Book it! You won’t be disappointed.
