Lumineux et spacieux, la chambre principale donne sur la vieille ville historique », avec toutes ses boutiques, restaurants et musées. La deuxiÚme chambre dispose de lits superposés et un futon. Amazing walkable location in the heart of historic Marblehead. Comfortable home with lovely architectural details and furnishings. Friendly responsive host. We’ll definitely try to book this spot again on our next visit to Marblehead.

The house was perfect for us. The owner was very nice and was easy to get a hold of. Great communication!! We did eat at Tonys pizza, very good. Lots of local small grocery stores. Very convenient to Salem.

We had an amazing time visiting Marblehead!The house was perfect for us. We each had our own bedroom, the kitchen was fully equipped, and the downstairs area was perfect for sitting and talking. I had a few questions for John and he texted back each time in a timely, friendlymanner. Marblehead is a lovely little town and we want to go back. Will definitely stay in the same place!

Great place to stay with all of the necessities for a multi day stay. The place was clean and charming. The area is a beautiful part of town. John, the host, made the check in process easy with great directions, instructions, and recommendations. He was responsive to questions and provided more info/recommendations for the surrounding area(s) when asked.

Communications with the host were easy and answers came quickly. Good without being intrusive! Excellent recommendations for enjoying the town and the general area. We (a couple) shared the house (large and comfortable, lots of stairs which is a plus for people who love houses with steps!) with good friends (a couple) - one full bath and a powder room (with shower). Staying in this property in Marblehead was a complete delight.

Marblehead is a small, quiet and historic town. The house is located right across the street from Abbott Hall where the Spirit of 76 Museum is. We had all the comforts of home, like A/C, even though it was an older home 
 it had great ambience. We spent a lot of time in the dining room at the large family table, catching up and playing board games (many provided). This kitchen had everything you could need to make a large family meal. We went grocery shopping at the quaint Crosby’s Marketplace the first day, and ate breakfast and most dinners at the house to save money. It felt centrally located. We spent a day at Devereux Beach, and hopped on the Lynn Ferry to go to downtown Boston to experience the Freedom Trail. We also went to Salem for the Witch Trial Museum as well as the Salem Maritime Museum, recommended by John. My high school teacher son loved the Customs House where Nathaniel Hawthorne wrote. We also took in a Red Sox game at Fenway. There’s so much to do that I recommend at least 6 days there. John was very responsive and helpful when we were planning our trip, as well as after when we left an item in a rush to leave and catch our flight. I highly recommend staying at his adorable, historical home!
My musician son appreciated the organ.

Perfect place for our school reunion. Plenty of room, centrally located. Kitchen was very well stocked. John was very responsive whenever we had a question. Very comfortable place and we would stay there again!

Absolute perfection!

This is such a a cool house right in the heart for Marblehead! You could not ask for a better location. The house was comfortable and clean with all the amenities you would expect. The owner went above and beyond to keep us comfortable during the recent heat wave.

Marblehead Family Vacation

Family trip of 6 enjoyed a great week in Marblehead! The house was perfect for our group. Everyone had their own space and plenty of room in living and dining rooms. The character of the house was perfect for the area! Walkable to cute shops and great restaurants. Close to beach! We even took a bus from town to the train station and spent the day in Boston. John was a great host! He supplied area information and responded quickly to questions.

Lovely home in beautiful Marblehead MA

This vacation home in historic downtown Marblehead MA, is lovely and so charming. It has original beautiful wood-workk throughout and has very comfortable beds and extremely clean with new living room furnitures. The owner, John was very nice to communicate with and shared helpful information. You will be pleased staying in this home which has the most perfect downtown location where you can walk everywhere in the beautiful Marblehead town.

Wonderful accommodation in ideal location

Wonderfully placed in the middle of historic Marblehead, walking distance to practically everything of interest, plus a supermarket and restaurants. Lovely old (well, obviously) house, well-appointed and charming. Still had all the modern amenities as well. Any building of such age is going to have its idiosyncrasies, like banging your head a few times if you're over 6". (And have to mention that being next door to Abbott Hall means being next to Abbott Hall's belltower!) But things that matter, like appliances, water, and heating, were all fine. Television and internet worked fine; furniture was clean and comfortable. Communications with the owner were regular and clear from start to finish. Spectacular place to stay, no question.

Amazing Halloween week

The four of us stayed here for the week of Halloween. The close distance to Salem along with the short walk to plenty of shops in downtown Marblehead made it the perfect location. John was very helpful and made for an easy check in and check out. The house was amazing, with plenty of room for four people to move around comfortably and well equipped for the breakfasts we cooked and the chicken we grilled. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Marblehead

Fabulous location, charming historical home. The street parking is generous and you should have no problems finding parking. We had a memorable dinner down the street at Five Corners Kitchen, didn’t even have to drive since it’s a five minute walk. Landlord was very friendly and extremely responsive. Wonderful stay!

John is a wonderful host! We loved the house and its location was great. Marblehead is such a beautiful town rich in history. Easy ride from Marblehead to Salem. Beaches are within walking distance as well as several restaurants.

Best Stay/Host in Marblehead

The host was extremely organized and helpful with tons of information. He even called to discuss the details of our stay. His home was charming beyond belief. None of us wanted to leave. I will book this home in Marblehead every time I am in the area! Such a wonderful experience!!
