About this property

Skyfall House -Stunning secluded, peaceful iconic 3-bedroom home!

As featured in Destination Channel's Staycation Wine & Dine and Palm Springs Life Magazine “Skyfall House” is an iconic and critically acclaimed architectural masterpiece located in the serene Cahuilla Hills of the Mesa neighborhood. Overlooking Palm Springs and built up against the majestic San Jacinto bedrock, it’s time to plan your escape to the luxurious Skyfall House retreat.

Built in 1963 by architect R. Denzil Lee this mid-century modern home is uniquely distinctive boasting a circular saltwater pool that lays under the open oculus overhang. By day soak up the desert sun from the comfy day bed or the chaise loungers or stargaze by night from the raised circular spa or outdoor firepit and seating.

The home itself wraps around the pool and outdoor courtyard giving you an experience that’s anything but ordinary. Magnificent 270-degree views of the mountains and the night lights of the city and valley are yours to take in from the hidden hideaway of Skyfall House.

With nearly 2,800 square feet this home features a generous great room with an 85” Samsung Frame TV, tiled gas fireplace, terrazzo floors, and ample seating to lounge on sofas that are from the groovy days at The Standard Hotel. Perfect for entertaining the group getaway, movie night, or watching the big game.

The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, a wet bar, and a breakfast bar that overlooks the pool and patio. The dining area, situated just off the kitchen is the ideal place to enjoy home-cooked dinners with friends or family. Bring indoor dining outdoors while enjoying BBQ dinners al fresco at the outdoor dining table for 6.

The two primary bedrooms are on opposite ends of the home for ample privacy, along with the guest room where they each feature Bryte mattresses and their own ensuite bathroom and TV in each room. Walls of glass surround the house opening the space and allowing guests to take in dramatic outdoor views of architecture and city lights below from nearly every room.

Conveniently located in The Mesa neighborhood, guests are a 10-minute drive from the airport, a 2-minute drive from the Moorten Botanical Garden, and a 7-minute drive to all the food, fun, and entertainment Downtown Palm Springs has to offer.

Misters are not available due to the California drought. Security cameras are located on the exterior of the property. No cameras are located in private spaces.
