Happy holidays! Half block to beach! Walking-distance to the Village, train station, shopping, dining and more in this newly renovated and fully furnished 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom beach duplex. Family room has additional sleeping arrangements that includes two sofa-beds. The second bedroom is a trundle bed which offers a second pull-out bed, and the third bedroom has a full over full size bunk bed with plenty of room to roam around. Master bedroom has a queen pillowtop mattress. Each bedroom has its own Roku TV. Two private parking spots onsite in addition to washer and dryer. There is also a queen pillow too air mattress, if needed. Family owned and operated. Come see what sets us apart from other short term rentals! Carlsbad city permit no. 013770-05-2023

We had an AMAZING stay here! The cottage was clean and so comfortable. The wonderful host checked in on us during the week and left little gifts for the kids. We left a couple belongings in a drawer when we left and she shipped them to us free of charge. 10/10 we would stay here again!

Wonderful beach cottage

We loved our stay in Carlsbad at this wonderful beach cottage. It was very clean and so comfortable for our family. Short walk to the beach to enjoy the waves. Would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable and great location

We had a great experience at this location! It was clean, had everything we needed and was a short walk to a quiet and beautiful beach. I asked the host a few questions and the response was almost immediate and always helpful and kind. We will definitely stay here again.

Perfect for girl’s weekend

The location was perfect- a few minutes to the beach and 10 minutes to the village. We didn’t have to use the car once. Our host was so thoughtful, the house was spotless and it had everything we could need. We will stay here again!

Family Trip

This property was immaculately clean and fresh with everything you could need. Comfy beds. Walking distance to beach and local stores which we loved. The host was super responsive and helpful with local knowledge definitely felt Like we got the personal touch ! I would recommend this property 100% and would use it again on future Cali trips

Beautiful!!

Wow! We had an amazing experience. Great communication from property owner and so many amazing touches throughout the place. Quick walk to the beach and outdoor shower/foot wash station was a huge plus. Would highly recommend!!

The condo was great. Walking distance to the beach and food. Perfect location that had lots of parking. The best surprise was they left a cake and candles in frig for my daughter. We will be back

Beach Weekend with Friends

Great house with everything we needed for 6 adults. We walked to beach, stores, and restaurants and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. Had to reach out to owner once and she responded within minutes. We would stay here again.

Family Beach Fun

Wanted to bring our little kids to the beach for the first time and this place made it really easy! The house it exactly as advertised. We had plenty of space for the 6 of us and plenty of things to use at the beach. Our house was so gracious and accommodating. Definitely check it out!

Cutest place to stay

Everything about our trip was easy. Communication with the property manager was efficient. The check in/out processes were seamless. The location of this rental was great. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The only time we use our vehicle was to drive down to a better location on the beach, the closest location to the rental is very rocky and not ideal for a beach day. It was a 5 minute drive and parking was easy to find. The rental was clean, well stocked with necessities and more spacious than I had expected. We would definitely book this location again!

Place was very clean and nicely decorated. The host forgot to leave us toilet paper, he did message me telling me it was delivered to the downstairs unit, and they would bring it up , but we never received it . We had to go buy toilet paper. There is no central air, and every time you plugged in the air conditioners and tried to use anything else electrical the power would shut off. This happened 3 times while trying to watch a movie and intermittently throughout the weekend and it was annoying. We made the best of it despite the electrical issues. I would not stay again because of the electrical issues.

Great place to stay

It was an easy 10 minute walk to the beach. There are a few narrow staircases for the public, we didn't have a problem finding it. Beach toys, chairs, towels, wagon, umbrella, boogie boards, surf boards were all available and in good shape. Loved the washer and dryer. All amenities were great. Fans and small ac units were great. Everything was clean and fully stocked. Jimene was wonderful to work with and even supplied us with a smaller cooler when I asked about it, which was very nice. Would recommend.

Close to Beach and Village

The place was very clean. I think it’s little tight for 10 people. We had 9 people (7 Adults and 2 kids). The property owner was great and responded to our requests in very timely manner. Also, the property is small so there isn’t enough eating space for everyone. There is a table out on the balcony but you can’t use it when it’s cold and rainy outside.

Absolutely perfect!

Just a three minute walk to the beach, and SO many little touches that made it an incredible stay! Having boogie boards, surfboards, beach,chairs, an umbrella, AND a wagon to bring it all to the beach with us was AMAZING!! Check in, check out, and communication could not possibly have been better! it was an incredible family vacation, and we are already planning to make this an annual stay!

This property is family owned and operated. The owners spent over a year professionally gutting and renovating this property floor to ceiling. A lot of love and hard work went into creating this property and continues in maintaining it. Before each guest arrives, the property is fully cleaned and disinfected, plus the property is then walked and checked meticulously by owners to ensure cleanliness, comfort, and of course a good time.

Why they chose this property

This neighborhood is unique and rare especially in the beach community. Here you will find ample street parking no matter what time of year. This neighborhood is extremely quiet and serene with many neighbors as original owners thus giving off a pride of ownership feel and a safe place to let your kids run free.

What makes this property unique

What is unique about this property is it was renovated for the owners to live here. Therefore no shortcuts or corners were cut when re-building this property. There is not much coastal land left to build upon so when this property became for sale, the owners wanted to jump on it because the location is the absolute BEST. The property is literally walking distance to three different public beach access points, walking distance to dining and shopping, and the local train station. The owners decided to keep it a duplex and not turn it into a single family home so that two families can live here/rent as needed.
