Excellent property, right in the adorable downtown area. Exactly as advertised and very responsive communication with the owners. Would definitely stay here again!
This is a basement apartment. No windows in kitchen. You can hear the apartment above when they are walking or doing laundry. Convenient location to walk to restaurants and shopping and even walked to harbor for boat ride. Enjoyed that it is a less busy area than Bar Harbor.
We spent two nights at Low Tide. The unit was very clean and well stocked for anything that we needed. I would advise it would be hard for people with handicaps to use the unit. There is quite a a step down into the living area and the laundry facilities, although very nice, are accessed by going up a high step. There was also considerable noise from the upper unit. The host was extremely responsive and very helpful. There were restaurants nearby that were nice.
Very nice property. Check in was an easy process and the property was very clean. The only issue we faced was that the sink in the main bathroom was clogged.
Perfectly located with easy parking. Entrance instructions were clear and the space was clean and nicely furnished. Kitchen well stocked with needs for cooking. I will stay again!
My family and I truly enjoyed our stay here. The condo was clean and well kept and everything was new. As far as the location goes, Southwest Harbor is an adorable town and, of course, never too far from the other attractions of MDI.
Conveniently located to to the small downtown area of Southwest Harbor with small shops and restaurants. Nice quiet neighborhood. The property is nice, especially having two bathrooms.
We were there for a quick weekend getaway. Check in and check out were seamless. The place was adorable and had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable and would stay there again!
This property is worth every penny. Perfect location, quiet community, amazing food! Condo is very clean, beds sleep amazing, furnishings are true to condo info. Outdoor seating area is an added bonus. Check in was super simple. If you stay here you must visit the Next Level Sports Lounge.
This was the cutest place to stay. Looks small but doesn't seem small. Great location. Would recommend.*Please add black out curtains to room. The shades don't do it. 5 am wake up was rough.
Pretty much as advertised. Really nice spot. Good communication. Easy in and out. 10 am checkout is pretty early, so just pay attention! Very comfortable for three of us, and certainly could have had another in there.
Overall we were happy with the stay. It was clean and there was good communication regarding check in and check out. The location was also very convenient There were a couple of issues:
1. Low ceilings with lower beams - we are a tall family and my husband at 6’2” just cleared the beams. My 6’5” son had to duck in all the doorways and under the beams. At 5’10” I had to lean over a bit in the laundry room.
2. Noise- it is right on the main road which isn’t too bad during the night but does get loud early in the morning. There was also road construction a few hundred feet down the road. There are a couple of dogs that like to bark early in the morning nearby. The front bedroom has windows that face the driveway at ground level so if someone drives in after you’re in bed, it lights up the whole room. Also in that room - there is a water line that frequently/repeatedly bangs when someone in that unit or the unit above uses the water. Also the sanitary line from the unit above runs through the ceiling and is very loud at night when someone is using the toilet or the shower.
