Updated 5 bedroom colonial, on the lagoon, minutes from beach.
Enjoy kayak and crabbing in the lagoon right from dock, and grilling and relaxing on the deck. Walking distance to bagels store, convenience store, ice cream shop, pizza etc.
7 minute drive to beach. Will consider small dog.
Home with 5 bedrooms, one bedroom on first floor (queen)
2nd floor features 4 bedrooms, two have queen beds, one room has twin trundles, and the master bedroom has a king bed with a trundle with two twins available for extra sleeping.
Enjoy the 2nd floor balcony on the master to relax and enjoy some quiet time.
Note: this is a family neighborhood
No loud parties

Quilts and pillows provided.

Renters must bring own sheets, pillow cases, and towels.

Home has washer and dryer.

The indoor fireplace is not to be used by tenants.

The home was the perfect place for our family. We had enough space for everyone and the large room in the back was perfect for our long tables for our Thanksgiving dinner. Our dog even had adequate room to room. The only issue we had waa the cleanliness. There were dirty pans in the drawers, splattered grease on the cabinet doors and a few other areas where not cleaned. The showers and toilets were clean though. The host was very good with her timely responses. The location was perfect. If they get a better house cleaner, this would be a 5 star place.

Father’s Day weekend getaway

Beautiful large harbor home

Lovely 5 bedroom home, beautifully decorated, convenient to everything, quiet neighborhood. Much fun biking, kayaking, crabbing and relaxing. Homeowner’s are super nice.

family beach getaway

This home was wonderful with a large deck right off the water. It is in a lovely neighborhood. It was less than 10 minutes to Ship Bottom beach and close to a number of restaurants. The kitchen was well supplied for cooking and the bedrooms were comfortable. Megan was a great host and very quick to respond.

Kite Festival Weekend

The house was perfect for our weekend stay with family. Very spacious. Enjoyed the back deck and hot tub. A short ride to LBI for the annual kite festival. Hope to return next year.

Awesome shore house

Our family some from out of town gets together once a year in Manahawkin.We have been doing this for many years as we really enjoy the area.Needless to say we have stayed in many homes and this was one of the nicest!It met all of our expectations and then some.The rooms are spacious and comfortable We especially enjoyed the beautiful deck and hot tub.It is in a great location very close to stores,and easy access to LBI.Looking forward to returning next year!

Great roomy house in nice location

What a nice house to stay for week. My grandkids had fun crabbing, fishing and kayaking and hot tub got alot of use. Beds are comfortable and house is in good shape. Everything you need without being fussy. Megan is great owner. Very communicative and responsive. Would stay again for sure

Overall a great stay

Communication was great. Fit our needs. The hot tub didn't work for most of our trip and the grill was really dirty and not usable. Aside from that the home was great.

Lovely home. Great location!

The home was even better than advertised! Lots of space and very clean. Enjoyed chilling on the deck and in the hot tub. Short ride to beach. Megan was very responsive. Would definitely rent again!

Great Place to Relax

The home was beautiful and spacious, great for a large group to relax. Great kitchen equipped with most supplies needed; we cooked breakfasts, lunches, and dinners almost every day. We spent plenty of time in the hot tub and on the back porch, used kayaks, brought SUP, and bikes. The location really was nice as it was a quick drive to the island & easy to find parking for the beach, close to a little market and bagel place, and right down 72 from the Shop Rite & several other stores. The only thing we didn’t anticipate needing to bring were hand towels for the bathrooms and shower rugs, but we picked up cheap ones at Walmart.

Owners very easy to communicate with

Owners answered every question I had promptly. Great location. Lovely deck and bonus kayak provided kids loved it! They fished and crabbed right from the dock (all catch and release) Wanted somewhere close to the water to chill at night after our competitions were over and for the short breaks we have throughout the day when we couldn’t quite get to the beach. But also wanted family friendly for our kids. Only had one day free day from our dance competition to do the beach so being right on the bay was definitely a lifesaver to keep the kids busy. And relaxing for us to sit with them outside and chill at night.

Fantastic stay

When we go to LBI, we like to stay in Manahawkin/ beach haven west, because on check in and out days you avoid the traffic on the LBI bridge. The location of this was perfect. There’s a little market up the road if you need anything, and an acme 3 minutes away. You’re 3 min to the beach haven west bay beach, and 8 minutes to ship bottom beach. Every morning I loved to walk the neighborhood for exercise. The house is lovely, it’s roomy and perfect for a big family retreat. The views from the deck made for lovely family memories we will never forget. Megan was so quick to answer any questions we had. Would definitely recommend!

Vacation Home on Inlet

We had a wonderful vacation and enjoyed the amenities of this property. It was well suited for our extended family of 6 adults and 4 children (2-5 years of age). We really liked the enclosed deck on the water. It was safe for young children and kept them away from the water. A kayak and adult life jackets were available but we didn't have time to use them. Several people in our party did enjoy use of the hot tub in the evenings. The house was spacious and the kitchen was well stocked with essentials. We had a couple concerns during our stay and the hosts responded to our texts very quickly. The house is located in a great location; very convenient to shops, restaurants and LBI. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Spacious house for big family vacations

Very spacious, clean and well appointed. Truly the nicest place that we have stayed in all our years at LBI. Ages 27-87 all had room to relax and enjoy. Megan was great to work with.

Comfortable Stay w/ Great Amenities

We had a great family vacation at Megan's property. The location was excellent. We typically stay on island and this spot was actually really convenient for getting to all our favorite places. Ship Bottom beach was less than 10 minutes away. The house was clean and tastefully decorated (only thing lacking were bedside lamps). Beds were comfortable with nice cotton quilts. Don't forget to pack sheets, pillowcases and towels! :) Kitchen was well-stocked. The deck is awesome and we loved the access to the lagoon for crabbing & kayaking. Communication with our host was prompt and pleasant. Neighborhood was quite and family-friendly. Would definitely rent this property again.

Amazing time

We had 3 groups of parents that were without their children (ages from 3-15). The owner was easily reached, approachable, and responded in a timely fashion. The hous was spacious, had everything we needed to have adult time and RELAX. We will definitely be renting again from Megan as long as she is renting!

Things to know

The property was amazing. Overall clean, accessible to beaches, beach passes included, nice grill, hot tub. We spent most evenings and mornings outside on the deck. Very beautiful. Only issue we had was we did not know before hand that we had to bring our own sheets, pillows and towels. We came from Illinois and we were more than 1/2 way there (driving) before we found out. We had to stop and buy everything at Target with an already full van of 7 people. That was the only thing that was disappointing. I had a number of communication emails with the property owner and nothing about that was mentioned only that we would get the key code and other information about the property the day before or the day of. Overall a beautiful property and besides that one complaint, everything was spot on.

Perfect Vacation Home

We loved this beautiful home! Very spacious and clean! We spent so much time relaxing on the back deck while enjoying kayaking and the tiki bar! Made special memories with our extended family of 10. Perfect Vacation Home! We can’t wait to stay again next year! It was truly hard to leave!

Wonderful spot on the lagoon!

Beautiful large deck with boat access, kayak, and hot tub. The inside is spacious, especially the main living areas. Well equipped and large kitchen. Adequate bathrooms for the number of bedrooms. Our extended family stayed here and had plenty of space to get ready for a wedding. Quick drive to LBI. Walkable to the pizza parlor and bagel shop. Convenient to grocery stores and nail salons. Definitely will stay here again!
