The cabin was beautiful with stunning views from the deck. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the morning with our coffee enjoying the view and watching the hummingbirds come to the feeders. We appreciated the garage for our car, three bedrooms with three bathrooms and the overall beauty of the cabin. The hot tub was very nice and clean. We would definitely recommend this property.
The views were amazing, it was quiet and peaceful. The beds were comfortable. Host was very responsive to messages and very helpful. We definitely would stay again.
Beautiful cabin with incredible mountain views from the deck. I enjoyed my coffee there each morning. Hot tub after hiking, tubing, and rafting (all close to the cabin) was so relaxing. Very close to downtown, Great Smoky Mountain Railroad & a little farther to the Great Smoky Mountain NP. We saw turkey and deer strolling the road leading to the cabin. Comfortable beds and overall accommodations. Kitchen was well stocked. Highly recommend.
We arrived around 9pm, so the gravel road to the cabin made me a bit nervous. The location is great. The cabin was clean. The kitchen was great. Waking up to the view with a cup of coffee was just amazing. I will definitely be staying at this cabin again.
Absolutely breathtaking views and so peaceful. Felt like we had the whole mountain to ourselves. Fully stocked kitchen and we had everything we needed for our stay. Perfect spot for our big family, kids loved hiking day and s'mores/ fire by night. Hope to come back to see the fall leaves.
Amenities were excellent, everything we needed for basic use was well stocked. The views, seclusion and hot tub are the best part of the stay. Have stayed multiple times, will likely stay again.
The cabin wasn’t far from town and it was very clean with lots of space for are family and had all the things we needed so all we had to buy was food and drinks so they saved us money with having the other stuff there to use

Yes the hostess was very attentive. The hot tub was very slow to heat but the weather was extremely cold The house was very nice and the view was awesome. We had fun at the Polar Express
Beautiful cabin, very clean and well stocked with essentials. The views are spectacular and there is plenty of deck space to enjoy them. Hot tub was clean, worked great and featured the same amazing views. The interior was well furnished and featured cute, rustic decorating. Thanks for sharing your amazing getaway.
This is a great cabin with beautiful views. This was a weekend getaway with the family, and we enjoyed our stay. The host was great and answered questions promptly. We would definitely stay here again.

About the host
Hosted by Lasseters
Terry and Elizabeth Lasseter have been enjoying the Smoky mountains for nearly 40 years so felt it only natural to build their own cabin. Terry is a retired mailman and Elizabeth is a retired math teacher. They have been avid kayakers, hikers, and nature lovers who fell in love with mountain life. They hope you love the cabin as much as they do!!
Why they chose this property
After tent camping in the mountains for years, we finally started renting cabins. We then decided to build our own so we could own a piece of heaven! We looked for two years to find just the right spot. It has privacy and serenity, yet is convenient to town and all the mountain activities we love. We could not find just the right floor plans, so drew our own to build the perfect place to make forever memories.
What makes this property unique
It is secluded and private, yet convenient to get to all the places we enjoy, and the drive into town is absolutely beautiful. Although there are very few neighbors, the ones we have are friendly and treat us like family. We especially enjoy the serenity of hiking around the mountain, picking blackberries or viewing wildlife. After a long day of kayaking or hiking some trails, we can relax in the hot tub to take in the view or sit in the rocking chairs on the porch or gaze out the window from the living room or bedroom. No matter which we choose, it is like heaven on earth!
