Welcome to our family's oceanfront cottage located on the West End near the Point on Oak Island. We are so thrilled to share our home away from home with you! Home includes an elevator from parking level / basement level to the main floor.

The moment you come upstairs to the main level, you'll be enthralled by the views from every window and the brand new modern decor. The living room is newly outfitted with two sets of sliding doors to create a wall of glass that will leave you feeling like you're sitting on a cruise ship. We know you'll love making memories with your loved ones here whether you're scouting the horizon for our friendly dolphin friends as they swim by or enjoying family movie night on the brand new LG TV.

Want to spread out a bit? Check out our second story loft balcony - a perfect spot for reading where you can relax on the love seat or play PacMan.

Our kitchen is equipped with all the basics you need to cook meals with your family and share your adventures around the dining room table, all while taking in the breathtaking ocean views. There's no better way to wind down after a fun day in the sun than to sit around the table and share stories, photos, and your beach treasures. Of course if you're the eat-outdoors-type, we've got you covered! You can enjoy the salty air and listen to the waves while eating at our picnic table located on our oceanfront deck. Don't feel like cooking? No worries! You can walk to the brand new Lonerider Brewery and less then a mile to the Point.

Speaking of the deck, imagine rocking away all of your worries while enjoying your morning tea or coffee and watching the sunrise, or wind down at the end of the day and look for shooting stars while enjoying your favorite beverage. Whether you're an early bird or a night owl, our deck will give you the respite you deserve!

Ready to call it a night? Two of our bedrooms feature stunning oceanfront views, the lower level one has direct access to the deck! The other two bedrooms feature views of the sound. No one is drawing short straws in this house! There is a full hall bathroom on each level.

We provide a washer and dryer on the ground level near the main entry and of course towels and linens. We provide a starter pack of paper towels and toilet paper.

The location, house, and amenities were perfect for a getaway with my wife and dog. The beach is visible from nearly every room and was easily accessible. We especially enjoyed the spa and the enclosed back patio, which allowed our dog to safely enjoy the views with us. Being on the quiet end of the island was relaxing, and we loved being within walking distance of Lonerider Brewery and the point. Our host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay.

The decor of this home is lovely. Beds were super comfy. The real winner of the house is the stunning view. We saw a beautiful sunset and even though the weather turned rainy, the space was very suited to cozy movie and game time. The only suggestion is more deck furniture. We had a great time celebrating two birthdays here and would definitely recommend this home.

The location is perfection. Gorgeous view and love how close it is to the ocean. The home is clean, decorated so nicely and bonus we can see the ocean from every room. We ate in for almost every meal and the kitchen always had what we needed. Plenty of towels were stocked and even the bedding was super comfortable. We are grateful and love this home! Highly recommend!

We loved this house and would definitely stay here again! All the finishes and decor were so well done, cute design. Beds were all comfy!Kitchen very well stocked with everything you could need to cook. Hot tub is fun. The pac man upstairs was prettttty fun! Large deck and just a few steps to beach was excellent. Location on beach was great, not crowded at all.We loved this house and will be back!!

The house was very cozy and had all of the ammenities needed! The beach was never packed and Heather was very kind and helpful. The beds are very comfy and yhe doenstairs shower will spoil you. As a bonus, on two nights we were able to watch meteors on the front porch with the sound of waves crashing. It was lovely!

Perfect Beach Getaway

This beachfront home was the perfect spot for our family getaway! The location couldnā€™t be betterā€”just steps from the sand with amazing beach access. Inside, the space was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated with cute coastal touches that made it feel warm and welcoming. The beds were super comfy, and we had everything we needed for a relaxing, stress-free stay. We loved how easy it was to go from the beach to the house and back againā€”truly a gem!

Nice house but could use some upkeep

We were thrilled with the pictures of this place. The house seems to be recently redone. The location is great as itā€™s just steps from the beach.The house was not cheap, so we expected slightly better upkeep of the property. First, the inside of the house was really great. Everything was clean and the bedrooms and bathrooms were nice. The living area is nice with a big comfortable couch. The kitchen is nice, but could be stocked better. We appreciate anything thatā€™s provided but it was a little light on check in supplies (one laundry pod, one trash bag). We were not as impressed with the outside and felt like it needed cleaned up. The back porch view is beautiful with a nice hottub, but thereā€™s only one old rocking chair along with an outdoor couch. If we had any more people we wouldnt have been able to fit. Around the property, there are building materials and misplaced furniture and things that really didnā€™t help the presentation. We likely wouldnā€™t return because of the price but we did enjoy the stay.

Great experience

The property is beautiful and exactly how it is listed. One thing I would recommend is at least trimming the weeds to make it more presentable. There are vines with thorns that could harm the renters and trimming them is easy. Overall itā€™s the prettiest cutest property and we will probably go back again next year!

Lovely property

We loved this property! It is bright, open, and airy, and the beach is just a few steps away. It was very clean and had everything we needed. My only suggestion is to add more sand to the beach walkway, as it's a bit steep.

Cute house!

Loved the location of this house and the decor was also really nice. You're just steps away from the ocean. The house had everything you could need to cook. The multicade vintage video game was so fun. We visited in the off-season and it was so incredibly peaceful! Exactly what we were looking for in our trip. Also, when a snow storm was forecast for the island, the host graciously allowed us to reschedule our trip by one week. We came home wonderfully rested and relaxed. We hope to visit again soon!!

Best on the Beach

This stunning and beautifully decorated property has stunning views. We saw gorgeous sunrises and sunsets and dolphins! The owners were incredibly easy to communicate with and just the sweetest people ever. We would love to return again someday.
