A traditional fisherman's cottage tastefully restored and nestled in the seaside town of St Comb, first laid out in 1784.
The cottage has a south facing garden and is located only one house away from the stunning golden sands of the St Combs beach stretching in both directions. You can see seals from here and sometimes if you are lucky killer whales.
This dog friendly property welcomes guests into a beautiful holiday home, sympathetically restored with contemporary touches and set over two floors. Explore the fishing port of Fraserburgh, less than a ten-minute drive which is filled with fantastic amenities including most well known supermarkets, shops, pubs and eateries.
Attractions include The Museum of Scottish Lighthouses and Fraserburgh Heritage Centre next door. Our old fishing boat the ‘Gowanhill’ now donated to the attraction used to reside in our garden. The first lighthouse built by the Northern Lighthouse Board in 1787 is also located here on top of a castle! This is also the start of The Formartine and Buchan Way one of Scotland’s Great Trails, an impressive safe pathway suitable for all abilities of walkers, cyclist and horse-riders. It is entirely off road and relatively flat, however it passes through such varied and interesting landscapes that are constantly changing.
Fraserburgh Golf Club is the 5th oldest club in Scotland and the 7th oldest in the World. ‘Fraserburgh Golf Club’ is oldest golf club in the World still operating under its original name.
Other great are attractions are the Macduff Marine Aquarium, Sandends Surf School, Loch of Strathbegfor maintained by the RSPB and around the loch there are hides from which to watch the birds, Aden Country Park, and Maggie's Hoosie Museum.
