About this property

3 BR tropical oasis - pool, forest and waterfall

This Ranch-Style estate is located in the middle of a beautiful valley surrounded by acres of primary rain forest. Getting there you will enjoy spectacular views of the valley of El Guabo, one of the most beautiful and hidden places of Costa Rica. The house is located at the bottom of the valley, with a beautiful white water river that runs in front of the house. Our ranch is a 160 acre property of beautiful hills and a spectacular waterfall.

There is always a chance to see toucans or other bird species around the property.

The house is very private and quiet, yet is fairly close to the main attractions of Costa Rica South Pacific (One of the most unexplored but most spectacular areas of the country)

There is 24 hours security with a person who lives at the property.

El Encanto is located within an integrated agro ecological farm with water buffaloes, it is a place to mix relaxation along with adventure and specially to be in a safe and comfortable setting in the middle of the Rain Forest.

The biggest attraction is having easy access to a waterfall located within our property.

Ein wundervoller Aufenthalt

Das Objekt ist von der Lage, Größe,Gestaltung und von der Kommunikation her einfach vorbildlich. Ana Maria war immer zu erreichen und Probleme (Kleinigkeiten) wurden sofort behoben. Wir haben das Objekt nach knapp 5 Wochen wahrlich unter Tränen verlassen. Besonders die immer freundlich Stimmung unter den Angestellten und Ana Maria hat uns sehr gefallen.

Why they chose this property

When my oldest son turned 15 yrs old his dream was to learn how to surf. I heard that Costa Rica was an amazing place for surfing so I decided to take my family for a vacation. The moment that we got to Costa Rica we fell in love with it's people and it's land. From that moment I knew that it was the perfect place for us to have a second home. I explored the country for a year and a half until I found my dream, EL ENCANTO. It has been the best adventure of my life.

Exploring the South Pacific was a fantastic adventure and we believe it is the most attractive area of the country.

What makes this property unique

To have access right from our backyard to a tropical rain forest with a hiking trail that leads to a 200 ft. pristine waterfall. Have you ever had the thrill of a rain forest massage? Come and enjoy the waterfall at Finca El Encanto.

The property is part of an agroecological organic farm system and reforestation project.
