This charming home on the bay overlooks Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge, so bring your binoculars, because you can expect abundant wildlife views and bird watching off the back deck. This family- and dog-friendly getaway, located just one street away from the beach, offers a private oasis feeling while still being close to central Virginia Beach, just 15 miles north. Little Island Park, with public parking, a fishing pier, playground, picnic areas, tennis courts, and a life-guarded beach is just a few minutes away, but with such a lovely setting and so much to do at home, you may not venture far.

Bookend your days in your abundant outdoor space - spend the morning enjoying the sunrise from the front, ocean-facing deck, and step outside to the back deck for a spectacular sunset over the bay. In between, the kids and family dog will love playing in the huge, fenced yard, and you’ll all love swimming in the in-ground pool, soaking in the hot tub, and watching the birds from the small dock. Spend the day exploring the water with the four kayaks and two stand-up paddle boards on hand, and then fire up the gas grill and dine alfresco on the deck or opt to eat in the screened porch.

Indoor space is just as welcoming, with an open floor plan, comfortable furnishings, and hardwood floors throughout. The well-equipped kitchen features butcher block countertops, a lovely copper farmhouse sink, and stainless steel appliances. Coffee lovers will especially appreciate the coffee bar, at the ready to fulfill your caffeine needs. Countertop seating and a large farmhouse-style dining table round out the mealtime seating options, and there’s room for everyone to relax on the large sectional at the end of the day. When you get tired, three well-appointed bedrooms down the hall promise a restful night’s sleep, including the primary bedroom with deck access and an en suite bathroom. Drift off to sleep with one perfect vacation day behind you - and another to come tomorrow.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
