This spacious 1,000 square-foot condo filled with natural light has an air of welcoming throughout the place and plenty of room for the whole family. Gather around the comfortable furniture in the roomy, open-concept living area and watch a movie on the wall-mounted TV while being warmed by the cozy fireplace. Hobby chefs will love preparing meals and on-the-go snacks in the kitchen, which is equipped with stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar. The main bedroom is outfitted with a soft King-size bed, a large TV, and a lovely en-suite bathroom with a roomy shower. Kids will love bunking down and making memories together in the bunk beds in the second loft style bedroom. I stayed in this particular condo last year, and we liked being able to see our car parked as we had a dirt bike and fishing gear in the bed of our truck. The place itself was very clean, and is in a great location by Canyon Lodge and not too far from Mammoth Moto. I would say maybe an updated couch would be nice, and the dishwasher door could use some tightening up. Plenty of room in the condo, firm mattresses, which I preferred. The TV was fun to figure out, but the size is perfect to watch sports! Plenty of towels were provided for our stay, and we had no issues with parking close to the entrance.

Loved it!

Had a great spring break weekend, condo has great facilities. Sauna and two hot tubs were a hit after great day of skiing. Walkable to chair 7. Wifi spotty, but that's wifi in Mammoth so no surprise. We will be back, hopefully!

Walking distance to canyon lodge

Close to the lifts. Had a little difficulty figuring out which bldg my unit was in, but I eventually found it and all was well. Second floor unit. Typical mountain condo. The hallways were a little dark, but the unit itself was nice and accomodating. I could stay here again.

Comfortable and clean.

The condo was very comfortable and had a well stocked kitchen. The location is perfect for visiting Mammoth and the surrounding area. The pool and spa area was very clean and nice. The only complaint I have is that we could not get the remote control to work for the TV. We also had a problem with the entry code for the front door, which never did work, but the management company was helpful in getting us into the lock box to obtain a key, which worked fine. It was a nice condo and I would stay here again.

The pictures look great but the beds and couches were old ,worn out and uncomfortable. Kitchen only had 5 forks and spoons and we were provided only 1 towel per guest “per policy” but we were “welcome” to wash them during our stay in the common area …. Not exactly how I prefer to spend vacation . Was going to leave a review stating this condo is best for minimalists . But after waking up to mice droppings and all of our food on the counters (due to limited storage space) being opened and nibbled on by mice , this place is a hard pass! Due to known hantavirus in the area it’s not worth the risk- not to mention the money lost on groceries that had to be thrown away. When we reached out to the property manager all we received was a “sorry for the inconvenience “ reply. Mice are not an inconvenience but a health risk in this area -

Close to Canyon

Best part of this condo is its location in proximity to the lifts. It is a few minute walk to the parking lot near chair 7 at Canyon Lodge. The beds were comfortable. This home was advertised as not pet friendly and that was not true. There was dog hair on the floors and in the carpets. When we responded to a text from VACASA about the cleanliness and complained about the dog hair all we received was an auto reply saying they would get back to us within 24 hours. We never did hear from VACASA. In addition there are more remote controls then devices (TV's Roku). Once we figured them out we were able to operate TV in the living area and the loft, but the bedroom remotes did not work and we were unable to utilize that TV. The home could use some updating specifically in the bathrooms and with Kitchen basic utensils.

First time in Mammoth

This was my first trip to Mammoth. And I gotta tell you, I loved that condo. I looked at hotels in the area and for the price, it offered WAAY more than any of the hotels did, plus i didn't have to deal with any parking problems like at the hotels. It almost felt like I was at home away from home with all the amenities. The stone work on the fire place really tied the whole living room together. Plus the full kitchen filled with a full array of plates, bowls, cups and silverware. Anda dishwasher incase you need it! The upstairs loft gave the feeling that there were two separate master bedrooms. And big TVs in every room for when I was there relaxing. The location was perfect for me. Not too close to the center of town, but not too far away either. I was far enough away from all the events by the village shops that i didn't hear all the commotion. But close enough that I was only a few minutes away from anywhere I needed to go. All in all, it was a great place. And i would definitely rent that place out again if it's available next time I go up. For what I got and the experience I had, I couldn't have asked for more. Especially at that price!

Location, location, location

This was a wonderful place. The condo was clean, warm and more than enough room for what we needed. My girls loved the bunk beds and my parents enjoyed their private master with bathroom. My husband and I slept in the queen next to the girls in their bunk bed in the loft. It’s rare to find a loft with a full bath and closet and this one had just that. We loved the large tv and all the movies and channels available. The location to Canyon Lodge was amazing! My husband and older daughter walked up to the mountain and back to the condo each day allowing for my, my daughter and parents to go off and have fun. The unit has a locker for all snow gear. It also has access to amenities the building has to offer. I highly suggest this place.

We love the location and the overall layout of the loft. As two families of 4 staying here, we did not feel crowded or on top of each other. We did have 2 people sleeping in the floor of the downstairs bedroom since we brought extra sleeping bags so the living room was left free and open.

Family mini vacation

We were here for a few day and loved the location!! Walking distance from the lift’s! The condo was great, very comfy and homie. They had everything we needed in the kitchen and huge TV’s to relax after a day of hiking and having a blast! We will definitely be coming back!

The location of Chamonix 20 was great. It’s on the second floor of a condo unit walking distance from Canyon Lodge and Just a few shuttle stops from the village. The decor was nice and for 4 adults, an infant, and a dog, we had plenty of space. Unfortunately, the microwave did not work as the outlet had no power and the Wi-Fi was useless. Near the end of our trip, I did find that the Wi-Fi in the common area (by the pool) works very well, so I was able to get some things done while laundry was drying. My father in law also used the microwave in the common area to pop some popcorn. PS. Customer service did not provide much help when we reached out about the microwave. Also just note that water heater run out of hot water quickly. So take quick showers and space out your showers. Per public records, this condo was recently purchased. So hopefully, the owner is still working on some of these small annoyances. So yes, “It has potential” is how I would describe this condo.
