We loved it here! The cabin was clean, the views were spectacular and we had a great time! Thank you for your hospitality, we really felt at home and highly recommend for any family who wants to relax and enjoy quality time with family.
Truly are million dollar views
Wonderful cabin, wonderful views, lots of things to do within a short drive, if you have small children make sure you bring safety gates.
Communicated with guest to find out why safety gates were suggested in the event there was some hazard we were unaware of. Guest has 2 year old twin toddlers who like to climb steps. We do have steps leading from the recreation room and to the Loft area. Guest planned ahead and brought their own safety gates from home. Safety gates are the accepted way to keep toddlers off of steps, and I believe his suggestion is a sound one.
Beautiful Views at a Beautiful Cabin
Our family of 5 spent a few days at Longview Cabin. The drive up the mountain was easy and amazingly google maps led us right to the driveway. The views from the deck and from the inside of the cabin are spectacular! The cabin was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with just about everything you would need AND all of the pots/pan were in excellent condition. The WiFi and TV reception was great - no issues at all. There was plenty of room for us to spread out, ended up with an extra bedroom cuz all 3 girls stayed in the same room. We enjoyed the basement too. The ping pong table was a huge hit. And of course the hot tub was the icing on the cake, so nice after a long day of hiking/shopping. We went hiking at Deep Creek Trails, very short drive from the cabin. Also did some shopping in Bryson City, Cherokee, and at the Nantahala Outfitters. This was our first trip to NC and it did not disappoint. The weather was chilly and even had some snow flurries. But that didn't slow us down. Had a great time and hope to visit Longview Cabin again. We highly recommend this cabin. The reservation process was easy. Thanks Robert for sharing your beautiful cabin!!!
Beautiful Home away from home!
We actually ran into a LOT of snow. This house is way up there as you can see and North Carolina weather is notoriously unpredictable so just be prepared if you book in the winter months! 8" of snow left us car-less at the bottom of the road but with help form neighbors we made it to the house with our stuff. The weekend was beautiful and snowy and we were perfectly content being "stranded" inside this beautiful home watching it snow across the mountainside.
The interior of the house is wonderful, it has been taken care of nicely. It had everything you could want, the commodities of a hotel, and you don't need to bring much of anything.
the fireplace is wonderful, we loved it and made smores.
I would lvoe to go back and be able to do some activities in Bryson City- a beautiful place!!
Great place for s family vacation!
