Welcome! Our cozy cabin is the perfect place for your next adventure. It is located in a private gated community only 10 mi to Pinecrest Lake and 15 mi to Dodge Ridge. Take a 5 minute stroll from the cabin to the enjoy the small community lake in the summertime, playground, baseball field, basketball and volleyball courts, sled hill, apple orchard in the Fall, and a horseshoe pit. Our cabin can accommodate up to 4 adults (6 people total including children).

This property is lovely, and the hosts were really thoughtful about the little amenities around. They were also really responsive. Check-in and out were easy. A great spot for exploring the area, but my son’s favorite time was ‘cozy time at the cabin’ Recommend!

This cabin was beautiful to stay in. The are has a small private lake and walk and many amenities. Near many lovely hikes. The cabin was clean and welcoming and very cute. I highly recommend it!

Amazing Experience!

My family and I loved our stay at Claire's Nest! It is a gorgeous cabin in a beautiful location. Teaching my younger brothers how to fish at the community lake is a fond memory we will definitely look back at through the years. This was our first experience booking a cabin and we could not have been more satisfied. Michelle is very accommodating and made us feel extremely welcomed throughout our stay. Would absolutley love to come back during the snowy season!

Fantastic little cabin

Really loved our stay here and will stay again! Perfect spot for our small family of 4. It's well located and is a very short drive to the local ski resort and there wasn't enough snow to take advantage of the private sledding hill, but I could see that being clutch during a better winter season. It was very tastefully designed, cozy/warm, and the king size bed is a very comfy memory foam. My kids enjoyed the selection of puzzles and toys and it has the most well stocked vacation rental kitchen I've ever seen! We had no problems preparing all of our food and enjoyed listening to some records during dinner. Thanks for the great stay! Definitely won't hesitate to book again.

Welcome! My name is Michelle and I will be your host. My family purchased this hidden gem in 2020 and we have been enjoying this beautiful area ever since and we can't wait to share it with you. Monterey, CA is our home base and we feel very fortunate to be able to travel back and forth between the mountains and the sea. My husband works in the movie industry and I am a family portrait photographer. We have an 8 year old daughter who enjoys singing, dancing, and science experiments.

Why they chose this property

Be our guest in our cozy cabin. We hope you enjoy this area as much as we do. We have found this community to be very welcoming and a beautiful escape surrounded by the tall trees and nature, and yet still a short drive to all the conveniences of home.

What makes this property unique

Our cabin is located in a private gated community with a private community summer lake, playground, horse shoes, basketball court, baseball diamond, community BBQ area, hiking trails, and volleyball courts all within a short 5 min walk from our cabin.

A short drive away is Pinecrest Lake, Dodge Ridge Ski Resort, Leland Snowplay, Aspen Meadows, Columbia State Park, downtown Sonora, Railtown 1897, and Black Oak Casino. There are so many wonderful ways to enjoy your stay here with your family!
