The road to The Green Cabin is gravel and steep so be cautious ascending and descending the road & driveway. An AWD vehicle with good tire traction is highly recommended.

The house is located adjacent to roughly 16,000 acres of preserved forest land, please be mindful of mother nature... Please leave no trace and be mindful of surroundings & wildlife.

We do not offer refunds if the internet or power goes down during your stay but we will contact the internet service provider and GA Power for as quick of a resolution as possible.

If this happens during your stay... take it as a sign to unplug, relax, and unwind :)

Do not dispose or leave of trash outside the house as it will attract wildlife.

The Green Cabin uses a septic tank system - please flush only toilet paper.

The Green Cabin does not have garbage disposal - please do not put any food down the drain.

Firewood is not provided, please bring your own firewood supplies which can be purchased at every grocery store, gas station, or local supplier near the firehouse 3 minutes from the cabin!

** Guest Policy**
We have a Strict 'No Outside Guest' Policy on the property and outdoor spaces. The space is designed for the number of people who booked on the reservation maximum and are registered guests for the stay ONLY. Penalty of up to $250 per person per day**

** No Pet Policy**
We have a strict NO pets policy on the property for allergy reasons of the owners and for our other guests preference. Penalty of up to $250 per animal per day

** The Cabin is Not Suitable for Babies or Small Children **

I cannot say enough amazing things about this property. The cabin was amazing! The kitchen has everything you could need. Bathrooms, bedrooms, game room, everything was super clean! The host was an excellent communicator and was so easy to talk to. The photos and description of this cozy cabin don’t do it justice. You HAVE to see for yourself. 10/10 recommendation and we will be back.

Was looking for a perch to do some star gazing and The Green Cabin was perfect. Great location on a hill right next to Warwoman Road with a great overlook of Warwoman Valley. Cabin has an awesome deck and a dining area with a wall of windows.

The home is beautifully located with stunning 180 views of the protected and untouched mountains, and a relatively short drive into the city of Clayton. We enjoyed our stay with plenty of room for myself, my husband, mother in law, and 2 younger kids.

Blissful Retreat

Nice Get Away!

My family is from Clayton and we have been visiting the area all my life. In fact the name of your road is named after one of my ancestors. 200 years of our family history within 5 miles of your vacation home. The house is perfect and the view is unmatched. Highly recommend staying here if you are coming to the Clayton area. You won't be disappointed.

Fall Family Getaway

Wonderful long week-end at this lovely property.We were in town for the North Georgia HIghland Games. Enjoyed sunrise/sunsets on the porch daily. View was breathtaking& the silence was so peaceful. Cabin is very well equipped & comfortable. Close to downtown Clayton & hiking trails with beautiful waterfalls. Enjoyed fine dining at Fortify & tasty beers at Currahee Brewery.Will most definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay at the green cabin. The location was perfect for exploring warwoman creek and Sarah’s creek. It’s about 15 mins from town which wasn’t bad either. The cabin is charming and remote, which we loved. The kids loved exploring the woods and playing outside. When the kids were on the second floor it is pretty loud with the thin roof/floor combo. It also wasn’t the most cozy furniture for our crew of 5. Overall it was a great place for our weekend getaway!

Great mountain getaway

Our family was looking for a quiet mountain retreat to spend New Years, and The Green Cabin did not disappoint! The home is simple, but very comfortable and with all of the necessary appointments. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking meals, the common areas easily and comfortably accommodated our small group, and the bedrooms were cozy. The view from the deck is incredible both day and night. I’ve never seen so many stars! The drive to the house from town is brief and easy, so you’re a short trip from groceries and restaurants. There is a fireplace and fire pit but you must supply your own firewood (easy to get in Clayton but be aware in advance). Families traveling with toddlers may also want to bring a baby gate along. The hosts were very responsive to all questions and very helpful before and during our stay. I would definitely recommend this home and would be happy to return again in the future.
