Two brand-new hot tubs were recently installed! No other property in the NC Mountains offers Hot Tub seating for 14 people!

Welcome to the Blue Ridge Mountain Lodge in Banner Elk, NC, a secluded retreat immersed in a scenic mountain setting. We are conveniently located near Boone, Banner Elk, and Beech Mountain in the mountains of Western North Carolina.

Best retreat location ever!

This is our second stay and we are hopeful to come back again! Mike went above and beyond to see us through all accommodation details, and the house is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need! Rooms are spacious and inviting, the property is nestled into the sweetest quiet neighborhood. Cannot recommend this property enough!

Hot tubs were awesome. The fact that almost all the bedrooms had ensuite bathrooms was fantastic. Nearly too many bedrooms to count. Easily slept 18 with little-to-no bed sharing. Great location for Sugar Mtn, very short drive.

This was the absolute perfect house for our group of four families to celebrate together. We had adults, kids, and teens, and the layout could not have been better. There was plenty of space for everyone to gather, laugh, and spend time together, while still allowing each family and individual to have their own private space. Everyone having their own bathroom was a huge bonus and made the stay incredibly comfortable.Our host, Mike, was wonderful! Communication and planning was easy and timely, and the home was spotless upon arrival. The kids had so much fun exploring the area, and the location itself was truly perfect for our trip. We couldn’t have asked for a better place and would absolutely stay here again!

We loved the size of the house with a bathroom for every bedroom, the different living rooms, and the game room. There was a little more wear and tear than the pictures showed and we had trouble with a few things not usable, including the hot tubs, but the owner was very responsive and even had a technician come work on them. There was some disappointment that the hot tubs didn’t work the whole time, but we still had a good time all being there together. The app with all the property information was nice to have available and I appreciated how communicative the owner was. We enjoyed hiking up the old ski hill behind the property to find the abandoned ski lift at the top as well. We would consider staying here again.

Our stay at this house was absolutely great! The house was clean and we were delighted to find it well-equipped with various game activities, which was a huge bonus. The bedrooms were also very pleasant and comfortable. The highlight of our trip was definitely the outdoor premises and amenities, which we loved—it provided a fantastic setting for relaxation and fun. The place was huge and perfect for big groups. We loved the amount of parking available, the easy access to the neighborhood amenities, and the spacious rooms. The place could have been vacuumed better and the pull out couch beds did not seem to have been opened up & cleaned as we found tissues and crumbs upon opening the pull out. However, we quickly fixed that ourselves and had a great stay. Aside from that, the place was perfect and we would come back again!

Very nice home with everything you need! All the cooking essentials, 2 living room, nice game room, large dining room tables to fit us all in one room was so nice! The fire pit was perfect for the chill evenings. The kids nook in one of the bedrooms was so cute and kept them entertained. Having double / washer dryers were nice as well. Loved it! Only recommendation is some new mattresses and on demand water heater. Other than that, it’s perfect! And we will most likely be back next year!!

If you are looking to stay around the Boone area and don’t select Mike’s spot, you are doing yourself and family a disservice. Heck, even if you are wanting to go to Miami, Florida… chose this spot instead. 2nd year in a row my friends and I have came here.

This home was everything we needed and more for our wedding weekend. With our previous accommodations falling through shortly before our wedding, we felt blessed to find this home and owner. The house was clean with personal touches and so much space. We fit 20 of our closest family and friends, enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit, and had an ideal wedding weekend. Communication was efficient and seamless.

We had a great stay and the host was more then accommodating during the stay, the kitchen has everything you need for big groups, and the house as a whole is great for multiple families kids included. Would recommend and stay again

Great lodge

This is second visit to Blue Ridge Mountain Lodge with a group of friends and this place is just awesome. The lodge is spacious and has everything you need to accommodate a large number of people. The bedrooms are comfortable, the kitchen is the ideal size for cooking meals and the dining area big enough to accommodate the large number of people we had in the group. The firepit area is great which is where the group spends a lot of time together. I am already looking at dates for a 3rd visit in 2026. My friends have all told me I have found the perfect place!!!
