Outlaws' Haven is a custom built, well maintained, spacious home that has a beautiful, calming effect for those staying there. There are 3 levels including a downstairs basement with two bedrooms and a full bathroom. The main floor enters into a beautiful great room with tongue in groove ceilings and a stone fireplace to the ceiling with a loft above. There are beautiful hardwood floors throughout the house with the exception of bedrooms. There is a large gourmet kitchen with all that is required for entertaining a large group. The dining room provides seating for 8 and a large kitchen table has seating for 6. A spacious master bedroom, a bunk room and a guest room are all located on the main floor. The loft has a daybed that will turn into a king sized bed if needed. The master suite has a king sized bed and offers a beautiful view of the mountains. There is a large jacuzzi tub and seperate glass enclosed shower and a walk in closet in the master bathroom. The Bunk room includes a single over a full sized bunk bed and a seperate twin bed. The top bunk and twin have a weight limit of 80 pounds. This suite has a covered deck with a serene setting. There is a guest bathroom across the hall. The guest room has a queen bed with it's own bathroom. In the downstairs basement are 2 rooms,each with a queen sized bed. There is one bathroom. This area is typically shared by a family with children due to the access to the bathroom, through one of the bedrooms. The large deck off of the main floor offers a wonderful place to sit and take in the beauty of the high country. Centrally located, you are in walking distance to the Mountains-to-Sea hiking trail and a cycling group rides by in the summer months, going to the Blue Ridge Pkwy. Tweetsie Railroad is 3.5 miles away, Appalachian Ski Mountain is 7 miles and Banner Elk ski resorts are 17 miles away. The quaint town of Blowing Rock is just 5 miles from the front door. We are excited to share our Haven and are sure you will be back!

Why Staci Outlaw chose Blue Ridge Mountains

We love the charm of Blowing Rock and the serene mountain setting of the cabin that is right off of the Blue Ridge Pkwy. We love watching the cows graze in the pastures to the side of the house, the horses down at the bottom of the mountain and the deer, rabbits and other wildlife that can be seen all around us on any given day. We easily unwind here!

What makes this cabin unique

We enjoy anything outdoors. This area offers beautiful hiking trails, mountain biking, cycling, white water rafting, skiing, tubing, off road running, and many other outdoor activities that our family enjoys. The house is made for entertaining large groups (3 families at a time) and we enjoy it as such. At the end of an active day, we dine on the deck enjoying the sunset and the beautiful view. It's our haven! :)

Great House for a Family Vacation!

Our family of 8 adults and 6 children had a great vacation at this beautiful house. The children loved the loft with all the toys and the huge den with a large screen TV. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The porch was great with a fantastic view! The location was a perfect place to get away from it all; yet, it was a very short drive to Boone and Blowing Rock. We hope to be able to stay there again.

Super clean, great location close to the Parkway and beautiful views! Slept 11 of us comfortably. Loved that the kitchen was equipped with spices, condiments etc. We would definitely stay here again.

Wow!!!

Outlaw Haven was beyond expectations. The house was beautiful and had everything and more of needed supplies and activities. What can I say about the view? Breathtaking!!! We spent many hours on the large spacious deck overlooking the countryside. I highly recommend this property.

Awesome House for a multi family getaway!

Where to begin.... The house is amazing! The views were great. The spacious layout allowed for wonderful family time. The huge kitchen made preparing to feed 11 very easy. Other than a trip to the grocery store fore s'mores ingredients and a couple days taking the kids to snow tubing we stayed at the house and loved it! I'm sure we will be back!!

Wonderful house, better owners!

We rented this property for a "Friendsgiving" week vacation. We had three families, 7 adults and 7 kids (from toddler to teens) and the house was extremely comfortable. The bedrooms are gigantic and, despite three of the bedrooms being connected directly to the kitchen, they were very well insulated and quiet and we were able to easily sleep through coffee grinding, and breakfast preparations.

The kids made great use of the loft, the foosball table, the ping pong table and the giant bean bag chairs. The toddler enjoyed all of the toys. The adults loved the deck, the fireplace, the awesome kitchen and the nicely equipped bar. We cooked a giant meal every day (including a massive Thanksgiving feast) and the kitchen was an absolute pleasure to work in. It was well equipped and there was plenty of room for multiple people to work.

The Boone area was awesome as well. We went to Hawks Nest for snow tubing (they have giant snow cannons if there's no natural snow). We also did a guided rock climbing trip with "Rock Dimensions". We went to Blowing Rock for some light hiking, Linville Caverns / Falls, and went to Glen Burney trail for some more challenging hiking.

The closest thing to an issue was the refrigerator. We brought a LOT of food and drinks, and we had to get creative. Luckily, the temperatures were between 20's and 50's, so we just left the drinks in coolers on the deck and they were kept quite cold. A second refrigerator would be useful in a house this large though. If you have a big group, I would plan on bringing ice chests and ice for drinks and leave the refrigerator and freezer for food. Also, trash was a bit of a pain... you have to drive trash down to a collection center, so be sure to bag your trash well.

Finally, the owners were extremely gracious and helpful. We had read some reviews before selecting the property and the only complaint was about the lack of cable TV. We were moderately concerned because we were going to be in the house for Thanksgiving day and really wanted to be able to watch football and the parade. I emailed Staci and she promised to have DirectTV installed before we arrived.

Overall this was an outstanding experience and I would definitely recommend this property!
