I really did not like having to drive into Fernie town to get entry. Had trouble finding the place where the key was, it was poorly light and had bad signage. This added 45+ mins. to a long stormy day of travel. Then at check-out, they wanted me to do the same thing, drive back into town when I was going the other way. This system is very antiquated and needs to be improved. Otherwise the place was great, right in the slopes, nice set-up. Note the thermostat was not working right as we couldn't turn it down, so we wasted energy by opening the window. I'd stay here again if I could just get into the room with a code like most places. (Try setting up with KabaCode, which is what I use at my vacation rental - Clarke's Whistler Highcamp)
