Never was able to get in it. Couldn't reach manager, the person who answered the main VRBO numbe hung up on us after we waited forever to speak with them, and then the property manager claimed we didn't notify them in a timely manner (after we drove all night to get home and notivied them the following day. Can you say never again (and obviously we will notfy all our friends and family to steer clear of VRBO)?
Generally, perfect for what we needed. A place to sleep and stargaze while at the home and somewhere close to everything we wanted to experience in the area.
We had a wonderful stay. The easiest of all VRBOs that I have ever stayed at for accessing the place. The only reason I didn’t give excellent scores is that the garage was not accessible from the house meaning we had to go outside to open the garage door but luckily it only rained part of one day. The kitchen is pretty dark. The owners were excellent whenever I communicated with them and I would definitely recommend this VRBO.
This was place was in a great location, perfect size for a girls weekend(4women) to enjoy wineries and fun in Door Co.
only complaint was it smelled alittle musty and like old smoke otherwise it was a great place for us. Would book again!!
We absolutely loved our stay!! The house is a short walk into town! We went swimming at Ephraim Beach, visited the confectionery and other local spots. We even saw a few bald eagles! The house was very clean and perfect for our family!! The kitchen had everything we needed to make snacks and meals!
This is a wonderful rental property! It has two comfortable queen sized beds in the loft area and a couch that flips to a large futon in the living room. There are two very clean bathrooms with showers and a large eat-in kitchen that is very well stocked. We enjoyed the cleanliness and the seclusion. There isn't a lot of privacy because of the loft area and no closed bedroom doors, but it was all right for a group of close friends. Jason and Tami were easy to contact throughout the booking period and answered questions we had right away. We highly recommend this property.
We had four adults staying at the property and it worked well for our situation. Everyone went to bed at the same time so not an issue that the two queen beds are just in a loft and no individual bedrooms. Great location and would be a short walk to the beach! We did have a small issue with ants and contacted the owners who were very responsive and had the situation taken care of the next day. Property was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and dishes.
The house was excellent. Clean and comfortable. Everything worked as advertised. We enjoyed our time. It met our needs. If we do again, we will be back. The only concern was the sleeping arrangements. Two upstairs queen beds off set with no closed walls. You had better come with family members or as a solo couple. Not a lot of privacy. No other excellent!
nice place to spend a few days
the beds are in a sleeping loft, not separate rooms, no privacy
didn't like the air freshener, that's a personal taste thing tho
The house and location were great. We had some issues though. Despite it being a non smoking property, the house reeked of cigarettes. Bad enough to smell it on my clothes when I got home.
The other issue we had was the internet was down for our stay. The homeowner was responsive and attempted to fix it but only got the TV working. Wifi was still broken for the trip.
Also, I feel the listing was a tad misleading in that the 2 loft bedrooms is really just one open area that is also connected to the rest of the house. I may not have read the listing correctly but I think it's worth mentioning.
Other than that we enjoyed our stay and would go back if the smell and wifi is taken care of.
We really enjoyed the stay. Loved the serenity and yet close proximity to everything Door County. Sitting out back in the early evenings just to read a book and enjoy nature was very restorative. Kitchen was well-equipped and the house was comfortable and nicely done.
Location was perfect! 10-20 minutes to every place we wanted to visit and then able to enjoy the quiet, peaceful backyard at the house. Would highly recommend and will be back again!
We went with our daughter and her family. It was so close to everything we wanted but it was so quiet and peaceful. We walked to most places except when going to the Peninsula State Park
This property was a perfect fit for us. We traveled about 250 miles to rest, relax and have some adventures with our 6 yr old granddaughter. So much to do we have to come back again next summer! The lofted beds arrangement worked very well. This property was very clean and the communication with Tami was expedient.
We enjoyed our 3 night stay at this quiet little home nestled in a small wooded community. We saw a doe and her 2 fawns a vouple of times in the nackyard and the cottage accross the road.
