This lovely Door County cabin is a beautiful home located in the town of Baileys Harbor, Wisconsin. It sits on 3-1/2 wooded acres in a secluded, but not remote location. The entire cabin is available to our guests. There are two bedrooms, with very comfortable queen sized beds. The skylight and large windows in the cabin means that the space is always full of sunlight. We have a lovely, huge firepit on the property for your use and there is a flame view propane stove in the living room for those cool evenings. The cabin has central heating and central air conditioning. Two (2) bicycles and two (2) kayaks are available for summer use. We have a company called Mosquito Squad spray the acreage with pet and people friendly spray to keep mosquito and tick populations down -- and our guests tell us that it works very well!

About Karen Berndt
My husband, Carl, and I have lived in Baileys Harbor for over 15 years, and own the restaurant, Harbor Fish Market & Grille in downtown Baileys Harbor. We are always available for advice on sightseeing and love introducing our guests to hidden gems in Door County.
Karen Berndt purchased this Cabin in 2015
Why Karen Berndt chose Baileys Harbor
It is wonderful to have that total Door County experience, an authentic log cabin on 3.5 acres, just minutes from great restaurants, theater events, music festivals and the parks that Door County is known for! Plus all the water sports and arts to be enjoyed!
What makes this Cabin unique
We fell in love with the cabin a few years ago so it was a simple decision to buy it from our friends who had decided to sell. It is the perfect blend of quiet and serenity without being completely remote. The cabin is located only 1 mile from Baileys Harbor, lovely beaches and parks and great bicycling and hiking areas!

Amazing Place For An Amazing Memory
First of all being able to have our dogs along with us on vacation was great! The cabin was very clean and cozy. We spent our mornings on the three season rooms drinking coffee. We saw about 8 deer trotting through the woods the first morning we were there (the dogs loved that). Not to far from anything, because it’s right in the middle of the peninsula. Staying at the cabin was the first surprise to my fiancé the other one was proposing at Anderson Dock in Ephraim. We will definitely be coming back to stay again!
It was such a delight to have this nice couple stay with us! Perfect guests that are welcome to return anytime -- and we hope that they return soon!
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday at the Cabin the Woods. We especially appreciated the dog-friendly nature of the cabin, including blankets for the dogs to lay on for the couch and beds :) The cabin has so many big windows, so we really got to enjoy the outdoors even though it was cold and snowy. Would definitely return!
We so loved having these great people stay with us -- the cabin makes a perfect get away! Thanks for the great review and please come back soon!
Cozy, adorable and Clean!
My girlfriends and I absolutely loved staying here. It was clean, cozy, comfortable and perfect for what we were looking for. The beds were very comfortable and the shower had amazing pressure. Everything we would ever need was available, they even left gift cards for a local restaurant, no detail was spared. I highly recommend!! We can't wait to come back!
Cabin in the Woods is a great place to unwind. It has everything you need provided for your stay. Very quiet and comfortable. This is the second year we have been here and will return again. Highly recommend.
Nice little cabin in the woods
Cute, clean and comfy!
Great little cabin - best sleep I've had in years
This cabin was cozy and quiet. We were all very impressed with the screened in porch (front and back!). Adequate space for 4 adults to relax when we weren't venturing into town. Walking distance to main drag of Bailey's Harbor (long walk, but really lovely). And centrally located in the Door so that Sister Bay, Fish Creek, Egg Harbor, were a short drive away. Would recommend to anyone.
