Communication with host was immediate and responsive to questions before arrival. Entry was easy. Everything was neat and clean and exactly as described. Kitchen has a very nice large refrigerator (with freezer and ice maker), dishwasher, nice dishes and glasses, and most any utensil needed!! Close to downtown Sister Bay but still located on a quiet and peaceful street.

We had a wonderful stay in Sister Bay. The location was just about perfect; tucked away on a quiet, wooded lot, but still close enough to downtown Sister Bay to easily enjoy the restaurants, waterfront, shops, and marina.The cottage was a great home base for exploring Northern Door County, including Washington Island and Newport State Park, while also being a comfortable place to come back to and relax at the end of the day. We especially appreciated having the privacy and peaceful setting without feeling like we were far from everything.We had a great weekend and would happily stay here again on a future trip to Door County.

The house was extremely clean and cozy. It was in a great location too. I have been to many vrbo’s and I would just suggest to have a small shampoo and body wash in case guests didn’t bring any. It’s a nice little touch. I would definitely stay there again!

We want to thank you for sharing your family’s home with us! The house is immaculate and well-decorated. It was also fully stocked with anything we might need or want. The property itself is beautiful, settled into a clean, wooded area. Location is everything, and this house is ideally located close to all of the Sister Bay places that we love so much. We even walked back and forth to the beach several times with full loads and never felt it was far! We had an amazing week was a family, and we are, again, so thankful that you shared this house with us!

This house is great for easy access to Sister Bay. You are just minutes away from everything. That was our favorite part! It is very cute and cozy. Lots of kitchen utensils. Grill, fire pit and table for outdoor hang. The only complaint is that both beds were very uncomfortable, along with the pillows. Other than that, the stay was great!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage in Door County. The home is tucked away in a quiet, peaceful location, yet it's only about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the beach, coffee shops, restaurants, and all the attractions in Sister Bay.The cottage was comfortable, clean, and exactly what we needed for our getaway. We especially appreciated having access to the grill, washer and dryer, and fire pit, which made our stay even more enjoyable.The hosts were kind, responsive, and communicated clearly throughout the process. Check in was simple, and gaining access to the home was very easy. We felt safe, secure, and welcomed from the moment we arrived.We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Door County.

Perfect location to walk/bike to the main part of Sister Bay, clean and cozy with everything you would need. The backyard and patio furniture are perfect. We had many meals outside and nights by the fire.

Born and raised in Sister Bay, I moved out to Minneapolis for college at the University of Minnesota. Upon graduation, I found a home and stayed in the Twin Cities. I enjoy outdoor activities like boating, snowboarding, and traveling with my family!

Why they chose this property

This home was build almost 50 years ago for my Great Grandma and has since been rented out by my grandparents in the summer to families and summer visitors. When the opportunity to own our little piece of Door County arose, we were so excited. We love vising family in the summer and enjoying all the parks, beaches, and wonderful things to do in Sister Bay.

What makes this property unique

Private fire pit and bike or walk to downtown Sister Bay. Nestled not far off the main road, it offers a peaceful setting in nature with the excellent access to the amenities of downtown. Enjoy shopping, restaurants, beer gardens, and plenty of night life!
