This mountain top ski chalet is truly "Above It All". Perched at 3,100 ft. above downtown and the slopes of Ober Ski Mountain, and at the doorstep of the GSMNP, the location can't be beat! This modern, yet rustic 3 BR/2 BA chalet with a loft offers accommodations for up to 8 guests. With beautiful mountain views, a fully stocked kitchen, inside and outside dining, 2 decks, a private hot tub, and a community pool, this place has everything you need while visiting the Smokies!

The Neighborhood: Located at the top of the mountain and towering above downtown Gatlinburg, Panorama Point is a unique development of 18 Victorian style ski chalets situated around the perimeter of a mountain ridge, with spectacular mountain views and a community pool!

The Kitchen: Newly updated and fully stocked modern kitchen with marble countertops and subway tile backsplash. Brand new stainless appliances including a full size refrigerator (with ice maker), electric stove/range, microwave, dish washer, coffee maker (drip and single serve), as well as a blender, hand mixer, slow cooker, place settings, kitchen & grilling utensils, pots/pans/baking sheets, can/wine opener, drinking & bar glasses, etc., etc.

The Dining Room: Newly furnished with a counter height round table and a breakfast bar. Feel free to pull the counter height bar stools up to the main table and dine together!

The Living Room: Newly furnished and including a full size sofa, 3 arm chairs, coffee/end tables, a 55" Roku Smart TV, an electric fireplace, and partial mountain views.

The Lower Deck: Includes an outdoor dining set for 6, a brand new 4 person EcoSpa hot tub with hard cover, a privacy fence & curtain, two arm chairs, an Even Embers 4 burner propane grill, and string lighting with mountain views!

The Main Level Queen Bedroom: Including a queen size bed with euro hybrid mattress, all linens provided, a 40" Roku Smart TV, electric fireplace, dresser, night stands, ceiling fan, blinds, and a full length mirrors. The ample size closet also has a laundry hamper, luggage rack, plenty of hangers, 2 pool towels, and extra pillows.

The Main Level Bathroom: Newly updated with large walk in shower, shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispenser, toilet, sink, mirror, exhaust fan, and large storage closet. Includes hair dryer, toilet paper, hand soap, bar soap, bath towels, hand towels, wash clothes, and makeup towels.

The Upstairs Game Loft: Includes a foosball table, and giant Connect-4 game.

The Loft's Cozy Reading Nook: Includes a short queen size daybed, a 40" Roku Smart TV, and plenty of books to keep you entertained. Note: The permanent daybed is outfitted with a short queen size mattress for additional sleeping for 2. The mattress measures 60” wide x 72” long and may not be suitable for our taller guests. This sleeping arrangement is not a private bedroom and is located in a common loft game room area on the 2nd story of our chalet.

The Upstairs Deck: Offering majestic mountain views and plenty of lounging options! Furnishings include a patio sofa with coffee table, two chaise lounges, and hi-top table and 4 chairs for playing games or cards. Solar powered LED lighting has been added on the deck posts along with string lighting to create a warm ambiance after the sun goes down.

The Upstairs King Bedroom: Including a king size bed with euro hybrid mattress, all linens provided, a 40" Roku Smart TV, electric fireplace, dresser, night stands, a sitting area w/chair, an office alcove with desk/chair, blinds, ceiling fan, and full length mirror. The ample size closet contains a luggage rack, laundry hamper, ironing board + iron, plenty of hangers, 2 pool towels, and extra pillows. This bedroom walks out onto the massive upper deck with mountain views!

The Upstairs Queen Bedroom: Including a queen size bed with euro hybrid mattress, all linens provided, a 40" Roku Smart TV, electric fireplace, dresser, night stands, blinds, a ceiling fan and full length mirror. The ample size closet contains a luggage rack, plenty of hangers, 2 pool towels, and extra pillows. This bedroom also walks out onto the massive upper deck with mountain views!

The Upstairs Bathroom with Laundry Closet: Newly updated with large walk in shower, shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispenser, toilet, sink, mirror, exhaust fan, and a laundry closet with washer/dryer. Includes hair dryer, toilet paper, hand soap, bar soap, laundry detergent, bath towels, hand towels, wash clothes, and makeup towels.

Driving to and From our Chalet: Although our chalet is very conveniently located just 2 1/2 miles as the crow flies from downtown Gatlinburg and the Bypass to Pigeon Forge/the GSMNP, it is located in the highest residential point overlooking downtown Gatlinburg. Please keep in mind that you will be navigating the twists and turns of the mountain roads, so it is best to allow extra driving time.

Starter Pack - We provide our guests with a starter pack of K-Cups for the single serve coffee maker as well as coffee grounds, paper towels, and a couple of rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. Depending on the length of your stay, you may need to purchase more of these items to get you through.

The Private Hot Tub - Our chalet is equipped with a 4 person EcoSpa hard top hot tub. As a vacation rental property in the City of Gatlinburg, all hot tubs must be emptied, cleaned, and re-filled after every guest check-out. As such, the hot tub may not be quite up to temperature upon arrival, especially if we have a same day turn with guests checking out and guests arriving within hours of one another. Our hot tub is supposed to heat up at a rate of 5-10 degrees per hour depending on the time of the year and temperature of the city water used to fill it. Please be patient upon arrival if the hot tub is not quite up to the temperature that you would like. Also, there are posted rules on a sign next to the hot tub, which should be adhered to at all times. Please do not exceed the capacity and overflow the hot tub.

The Community Pool - Panorama Point has a community swimming pool for the enjoyment of it's guests and residents. It is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day with hours of operation and pool rules clearly posted.

Arlo Doorbell Camera - Our guests should be aware that we have a doorbell video surveillance camera located next to the front entrance of our property, which records both audio and video. We use this to ensure that our cleaning personnel and home care vendors are delivering the best service, which ultimately reflects in our guest experience.

BYO (Bring Your Own) Streaming Services - This chalet is equipped with 5 Roku Smart TV's that allow you to access all of your favorite streaming services. Use the "Guest Mode" option to input the dates you are staying, so that the usernames and passwords for your accounts automatically are deleted at check out. If you do not have your own streaming services, the Roku App. offers free channels and does not require a subscription.

Bears - Located at the doorstep of the GSMNP, there is an abundance of wildlife around. Bears frequent our neighborhoods often and there is a chance that you may see them while visiting. Although it is exciting to see them, they are still wild animals and must be respected. Always keep your distance, keep a barrier between you and them, never get between a mama bear and her cubs, and never feed them! Please keep your vehicles doors locked at all time, because the bears love to open doors to poke around for food. Likewise, keep the front entrance door shut and locked at all times, as well as the door walls leading out to the decks when you are not occupying them. Never leave coolers or any type of food/drink products outside, which includes the decks....bears can climb really well! Winter Driving - Our Chalet is located in the highest residential point of chalet village. The roads are well maintained, double wide, with few steep switchbacks, however, vehicles with 4WD/AWD are recommended in the winter months. We cannot control the weather and snow/ice are a possibility, so please drive with caution. We have a strict cancellation policy, so if there is any hesitation about driving in the mountains during inclement weather please consider purchasing trip insurance.
