Beautiful Holiday Season

We rented the property for six weeks while we visited our grand kids in the Monterey area. It was delightful and one of the highlights was a sleepover with the grand kids. The comfortable accommmodations were perfect and the neighborhood was very quiet. We hope to book another visit when we return, regardless of the season.

Disappointed with location

Not being familiar with the area, we chose this VRBO based on photos of the interior of the property and location on a map. The home was comfortable and met our basic needs. Coffee cups were filthy. Is dishwasher not operating correctly? Or not run after last guests? Neighborhood is sketchy. No scenic areas for walking. Not what we were expecting for Seaside, CA. Monterey’s Fisherman’s Wharf and Cannery Row is a kitschy, crowded tourist spot. A complete disappointment.

Owner's Response: We have looked into the Coffee cup issue and will be installing a new dishwasher thanks for the heads up.. not much we can do about your Wharf experience as we do not usually recommend going there for that reason however the Free Monterey Bay Aquarium tickets we provided with the rental are well worth the trip. Always looking to make it a better experience.. thanks again

Comfortable and clean

Our family of 5 was very comfortable in the cottage. Having 1-1/2 bathrooms was a plus, as most of the smaller properties we looked at had only one. Quiet, convenient location. Chuck was helpful and very easy to communicate with. The aquarium passes were very much appreciated! Googie Grill was good and convenient. We had a lovely dinner at the Beach House restaurant in Pacific Grove. Point Lobos State Reserve was the highpoint for us.

convenient property

Very comfortable home, close to shopping, restaurants, etc. Worked well for my wife who needs a wheelchair due to only one step to enter. House was clean and enjoyed front patio, especially during a hot spell. Passes to Aquarium were a nice bonus. Only downside was that there was no DVD since it was broken by previous tenant. We are booking again over Thanksgiving.
