Oh my goodness this was our favorite VRBO home we have stayed in! The house is gorgeous and so well decorated. The appliances are super nice, beds are very comfy, and the house was exceptionally clean! We loved being so close to the boat launch to go fishing. The lake view and sunsets were unreal- so beautiful! Hosts were great with communication and got back to us right away! We cannot wait to stay here again!

I can’t believe this is a VRBO! Someone needs to live here full time. The views of the lake, the beautiful decorating, the front patio, comfortable beds…all wonderful. We sat on the porch drinking coffee watching the bikers and walkers go by, then on the deck at the lake for wine and cheese to watch the sunset. Thank you so much for opening your home to us.

We have stayed in at least 20 VRBO properties over the years, and everything about this one was easily 5 stars. Not only was the property as described, very clean, and located on a quiet piece of heaven on Isla La Motte, but the sunsets were even better than advertised and the beds were super comfortable too! The bathrooms were clean and well apportioned, with good water pressure in the showers. They kitchen was both super clean and well stocked, and the included espresso pods were a touch of gourmet that made our mornings brighter! When it rained, there was still well covered seating on the front porch and on the deck out back. And then the lake. Lake Champlaine is beautiful!! The beach access was easy to get to, and the furniture overlooking the beach was super comfortable for some peaceful time by the lake. All in all, a 10* stay!! We recommend the breakfast from the Main Stop, and pizza and creemees from Eagle's Landing Rest Stop. Thanks Jo for opening up your home to us!

This house impressed us from the second we pulled up. Super clean, fully stocked, well maintained- had all the comforts of home!! Beds were all incredibly comfortable. We easily fit 8 adults (three young adults 18-20 who forgot about their screens for a week!). Spent a lot of time on the lake, great deck to relax on. And a fire pit on the water, that was a nice bonus. Rocky beach access, but easily walkable (water shoes were a nice to have but not necessary), great amount of beachfront to use. Saw loons, Caspian Terns, osprey catching fish, lots of ducks and a bald eagle to name a few nature highlights. We caught some fish- small mouth bass and pike-, kayaked, paddle boarded, floated, swam and skipped rocks. Island was also great for biking, a couple really cool preserves close by with fossil rocks (Fiske and Goodsell). Also highly recommend biking the causeway trail (pick up out of Colchester or Burlington) that was well worth the day trip. At night, after watching the amazing sunsets with s’mores we played cards and dominoes out on the deck. We didn’t need to leave the house all week, it was perfect for our annual lake house summer vacation! Hosts were attentive, quick to answer, not at all intrusive, the communication is very well managed. Highly recommend for a relaxing, quiet, comfy waterfront getaway.
