I will start by saying that the lake view from the tiny home was pretty AWESOME, and the farm animals were also pretty cool. With that being said, there were some negatives:1. It was a sweltering 90 degrees INSIDE the unit, as the air conditioner was NOT turned on for us, even though the owners had full payment and knew that we were soon arriving. Hit the a/c power button several times, but it did not come on. Owner Ryan called us back and said “don’t you know what an on/off button looks like?” I was very insulted by his comment. I never stayed at a trailer in Florida in JUNE where the a/c was OFF instead of just raising the temperature. Remote needed to be held directly in front of the a/c over top of stove to turn on. 2. The cleanliness was not good. Queen bed pillow shams had dried slobber all over; Daybed cover was dirty. Moldy sponge was left in the sink for handwashing the dishes; sink rack had chunks of mold on the underside. Shower caddy had a pile of 6 USED dried up bars of soap from previous renters; pots were super greasy and lid looked just used.Ryan was super defensive when confronted with issues, but did apologize the next day for it, however between the cleanliness issues and his initial attitude we would have expected some kind of compensation, at VERY least, refund the 30 cleaning fee since the place was not clean when we got it! We were offered nothing but a text message from Ryan thanking us for leaving the unit cleaner than we found it!
