Welcome to your ideal getaway! Our lovingly restored A-frame home is perfectly situated in a beautiful gated community, where you can unwind and enjoy quality time with your loved ones. Rest assured, this home was not damaged during the recent hurricane, making it a safe haven for your family. Brevard welcomes visitors and it's not too late for a fall getaway!

Highlights: Gourmet kitchen, 3 king size beds, huge vaulted living room space, hot tub on wrap around deck, quiet and peaceful tucked among the trees.

From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel a world away from the hustle and bustle. The community offers a wealth of amenities, including golf, tennis, pickleball, fishing lakes, community parks, and private hiking trails. Enjoy serene mornings on the deck, listening to the birds, or indulge in dining at the clubhouse. With no street lighting, the night sky here is breathtakingly dark—perfect for stargazing!

Our spacious A-frame, originally built in the mid-1970s and lovingly renovated in 2021, features a gourmet kitchen that any home chef will adore. With custom inset green cabinets, an induction range, and a quiet Bosch dishwasher, you’ll find everything you need to whip up family meals. We even provide many staples like flour, sugar, and spices, so be sure to check before your grocery run!

The home accommodates up to nine guests with four cozy bedrooms (three king beds, two twin beds, and a sleeper chair) and two bathrooms. Enjoy movie nights in one of the three bedrooms equipped with TVs, and stay connected with high-speed internet and access to streaming services.

Once you’re here, you won’t want to leave! The interior boasts cozy seating, convenient lighting, and a large stone wood-burning fireplace. Step outside to our expansive decking—over 1,000 square feet of outdoor space—complete with a propane fire pit for family gatherings.

While the unfinished basement is currently off-limits, our hospitality team is just a text away if you need anything during your stay.

Beautiful, secluded retreat

We had a wonderful stay for a spring break getaway! We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, park and hiking trails within the community, and proximity to Brevard, DuPont, and Pisgah. Access to community amenities was a bit less clear than advertised, but we had plenty to do. Enjoyed the outdoor fire out and the indoor fireplace. The overlook for Connestee Falls from the trail within the neighborhood was a highlight of our whole trip. Thank you for a great stay!

Love Connestee Falls and the Aframe on Owl

The owner's were very helpful to any problems we had and helped to make our stay more enjoyable. The house is very comfortable and has a modern kitchen with everything you would need to make all your meals. The bathrooms were updated and the four bedrooms are very comfortable. We stayed for the month of August and really enjoyed the comfort of the house. My Husband and I would recommend this house for a weekend or months stay in beautiful Connestee Falls.

North Carolina Fishing Trip

The property was very nice and accommodated our group very well. Everything worked as it should and the kitchen was well stocked for the cooking we did. Very quiet area and it was a great location to the state parks and streams we were fishing. I highly recommend this place. We did not even take advantage of the lake on the property or the other amenities as we were pretty busy fishing the streams but we did take a ride around and it is a very nice community.

The A-Frame Owl is absolutely fantastic. The view are wonderful. The appliances are top notch and the whole house is comfy. The fireplace is incredible and there is enough wood ready to go in the yard. The hot tub was tremendous. Amy and Peter responded immediately when we advised of a problem with the washer (turns out the GFI had tripped) and we got it working right away. The only problem I had was negotiating the driveway which is a little steep so seeing over the hood going up out of the property was a little scary. We solved it by having my wife stand at the top so I could see my target. Luckily I missed her every time. No 4 wheeler needed. We will likely ask to be guests again in Summer when it’s too hot in Miami.

Brevard visit

We regularly visit Brevard - especially when we drop our child at a nearby camp and wanted to try this area specifically for access to the hiking trails and waterfalls. The space was really well maintained - very nicely updated, great porch, comfortable with a nice kitchen and even streaming already updated on the TV's. Access was really easy and cleaning out was also a simple process. Everyone in the community was helpful and friendly - we enjoyed swimming and playing pickle ball - and ordered food at the restaurant too. Our family enjoyed hiking to Connestee Falls - was easy to find and navigate - and an amazing view of one of the top falls in the area!

Although our A-frame required us to completely renovate, we could see the amazing potential and gorgeous design. There are soaring windows, a 3 story living room, the house is set into the woods with no visible neighbors, and frequent wildlife sightings.
