While the water rushes at a rapid rate from the falls, you will find a calm stream in the front yard, perfect for fishing! Enjoy the cascades from the luxury of the porch hot tub, or venture a bit closer and take a look at the sliding rock while you enjoy the fire pit. Sleeping a total of 8, Havilah Falls Cabin has enough space for three master suites with their own private bathrooms, as well as a bunk room for the kids! If you have additional children in your party you can utilize the trundle-style pull outs in both downstairs bedrooms.

You and your family will love the secluded location because while you can be one with nature, you don't have to unplug to do it! You have the connectivity of WiFi as well as satellite programming and Roku smart TV in the living room. The cabin is also equipped with central heat and A/C as well as additional mini-splits upstairs, but with the altitude and surrounding water and forest, you are almost always guaranteed a breeze of fresh mountain air! The layout of the cabin is perfect for hosting family and friends for the ultimate mountain retreat. Havilah falls is located only a 15-20 minute drive from 3 different mountain lakes in the area, so if you have a kayak or canoe, you can put it to good use! About 30 minutes from the property you can access the Blue Ridge Parkway and take advantage of countless hiking trails. We came as a family of 7- three grandparents, my husband and I, and two kids aged 7 & 10. Our favorite part was watching our kids explore the property and be with nature. The waterfall was gorgeous and it even snowed while we stayed here. The house was very lovely and each room has its own full bathroom. The gas fireplace was easy to use and we made meals each day. Our only adventures were to Asheville and Cherokee but otherwise we enjoyed the property. The kitchen had new pots/pans and we used the grill one night. The hot tub was relaxing and they had lots of games, DVDs and puzzles to do. We brought water boots for the kids to play in the water. The managers were quick to answer any questions we had also. We loved it! Many fun memories made.

This property exceeded my expectations. Initially I was concerned that it may be too remote with restaurants, stores, entertainment, etc. quite far away. However, after we stocked up on the first day of our week-long stay, we had no desire to leave at all...and didn't. Beautiful setting, and well appointed cabin. Perfect place for maximum relaxation.

The cabin was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed and more. It was clean and just as advertised. The directions were easy to follow. It was within an hour drive of everything we wanted to do. We went tubing and did the smokey mountain railroad. Perfect place for a family vacation!

Absolutely beautiful property and home; the waterfall in the back yard brings a peaceful sound to the quiet area. Definitely is a very remote area and place to get away from the hustle bustle of busy life. We all enjoyed our stay.
