Why Crested Butte Property Management chose Crested Butte
We chose Crested Butte because of the beautiful natural surroundings. The trout fishing, hiking and skiing are incredible. There are also great trails for mountain biking. The wild flowers and scenery in this part of Colorado are incredible. Crested Butte is at the end of a highway so there is not constant traffic going through the town, like Vail or Aspen. Our adult children learned to ski here at the age of 5. The fine dining in Crested Butte is amazing for a town of it's size. Our favorite restaurants are Soupcon, Maxwells, Le Bosquet and the Timberline. For pizza, the Secret Stash is a favorite for kids and adults. The wildflower festival in the summer and the community theater year round are great. The free Monday afternoon outdoor concert series in the summer is great fun. My favorite fly fishing shop is Dragonfly Anglers. The owner, Rod Cecario, is super. Some of my favorite places to fish are the Taylor River, the East River, Spring Creek and the Slate River. Our hope is to retire to Crested Butte and involve our sellers in this great community in this wonderful town.

Great Home - Great Location
Perfect home for our two small families on a ski trip to Crested Butte March 2018. Quiet location right on Coal Creek, outdoor hot tub by the stream, and a super easy walk to Elk Avenue and all of downtown CB. Getting to/from the mountain was a two block walk to/from the free bus pickup or an easy 7-minute drive. House clean, comfortable and well-appointed and manager easy to work with. Highly recommended.
The perfect holiday house!
Beautiful home with everything you need. Very cozy place for our family to have Thanksgiving. The craftsmanship in the house is really impressive. Fully stocked kitchen, plenty of room for all of us to spread out. Despite being right in town, it's tucked away and very private. We walked to everything, including plenty of great hiking trails. The beds were comfortable, the sheets and towels were very nice and the master bathroom is off the charts nice. We love visiting Crested Butte and will definitely stay at this house again.
At Home with Friends
Super home in Crested Butte. A group of 8 of us from Coal Creek CO found the Coal Creek Hideaway a homey, beautiful, comfortable place to be. The VrBO description has a good write up but for our group we loved the layout, the well stocked kitchen, the steam showers, and the art! Would love to stay here again.
Coal Creek Hideaway was perfect!
We rented Coal Creek Hideaway for a family wedding. Eight of us stayed here in August 2015 for five nights. The location is outstanding. The deck with hot tub overlooks Coal Creek. The setting is very private - not an easy thing to find in Crested Butte. It is easy to walk into town and to access the bus stop. The fenced yard was perfect for our dog. I think the thing we enjoyed the most was how well appointed the house was and how many luxurious touches were included. The owners have thought of everything including things like extra silverware and dishes, umbrellas, slippers, bathrobes, books, games and more. It is clear that this house is loved and has much personality. The upstairs master suite is fantastic with a huge bathroom and a wonderful shower - perfect for sore muscles after a hike. The apartment accessed from the stairs outside was wonderful for our adult children. They could stay up as late as they wanted without disturbing anyone. I love to cook and I found the appliances in the kitchen to be top notch and there as a large array of pots, pans, serving dishes and other gadgets. I brought along extra napkins, pots, silverware etc. and I didn't need them. I fed 18 family members one night and 16 another night. It was perfect. The beautiful yard was great for our corn hole game and the flowers bright and well cared for. I could go on and on. Bottom line is that I would rent this house again in a heartbeat for any time of year. Thank you to the owners for sharing your lovely home with us. It was a home not just a house like so many other rentals we have stayed in. We live in Colorado and have visited Crested Butte on many occasions. This was the best rental experience we have ever had there.
