Take advantage of the private 300 ft. fishing pier, lit for your convenience. You can catch trout, redfish, flounder, and drum right out the back of the house! As an added bonus, guests have access to the homeowner's private boat ramp, less than a half-mile away by road, and only 5-8 minutes by water. The patio is the perfect spot to enjoy the coastal breeze and bay views.

Inside, you'll find everything you need for a comfortable stay. Relax on the cozy couches and catch up on your favorite TV show, or unpack your groceries in the fully equipped kitchen and prepare your own meals with ease. After a day of fishing and adventures, retreat to bed for a good night's rest. The ensuite primary bathroom features a garden tub for a long, soothing soak.

The property’s location was amazing and relaxing, especially with its own fishing pier and deck. That alone made everything else feel less significant.In our opinion, the beds were hard to sleep on due to the hard mattresses and some of the furniture felt outdated. A few of the cushions were worn out and stained, which made them uncomfortable to sit on. Normally, we don’t pay much attention to these details, but due to the weather, we spent more time indoors than expected.Be sure to read the property instructions carefully. We were glad we did, because bringing extra toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, and towels ended up being very helpful. If you plan on grilling outside, be prepared to purchase a propane tank refill, as the tank on-site was empty during our stay.Regardless, we made wonderful memories and felt truly blessed to have some long overdue time off.

Loved the back patio. Plenty of room for your coffee, setup lures, baits for fishing. Veyr well lit at night. The best part was the pier. Caught some reds all under sized-18 inches, sand trout, a couple of flounders, and gaft tops. Of course plenty of hard heads. Ice and roomy inside. Cool ac. Just a great place

Excellent location for a family to get away awesome 300-ft pier! Just like with everything good there's going to be a little bad! If you plan to tell your boat, make sure that you know where to boat ramps are. As properties in the area have their own private boat ramps. Cleanliness okay, I would suggest laying down some bug traps inside the property. But it's to be expected here in South Texas :-)

Minimal and that is not good

I am not sure where to start so I will start at the front door. The front door does not open fully because the home has shifted on the foundation. The refrigerator does not cool well. The cooktop elements do not heat evenly. The pots, pans, and all other kitchen items are a mix ‘n match combination that I could imagine were collected from garage sales. The air conditioning cools unevenly from room to room. The master bath shower does not drain well so during a shower you stand in 2 inches of dirty water. I bought some steaks to grill but the grill does not come with propane which was disappointing. Overall, I will not stay at this house again.

It’s a great little place to stay and has a great view. We didn’t catch anything but just being able to relax and unwind is a huge deal and it has gorgeous sunsets sitting on the pier too!!

Pier Pressure Review

The property was nice, however the responsiveness and amenities were not quite up to par with the amount of money spent. There were very little towels and blankets provided. No shampoo or conditioner. No underwater pier lights or overhead lights at the end of the pier which made for difficult fishing at night. We were given the incorrect PW to wifi, and there was no access to smart TV features to stream movies, so technology was very outdated. The beds were squeaky and not very comfortable. There was no other information about the surrounding area or things to do. We understand that a vacation agency runs things, but it was very impersonable and unlike any VRBO we stayed at. Won't be staying at this rental property again.

Great night fishing on pier!

The fishing was great on the pier at night - caught a Texas Grand Slam my first night - Redfish, Flounder & Speck. The lights along the pier were not working except for one in the center and the fishing lights worked, otherwise pretty dark. We got a work light to see our tackle boxes. A/C was cold, house was comfortable and the deck was phenomenal to relax and watch the friendly neighborhood ducks. The ramps were awesome for our older dogs (and us!). Lots of fun!

The house was clean and was extremely what we expected it to be per the pictures online. The house isn’t very far from town and some local restaurants were great. The fishing was pretty good from the pier at night. Only wish there was more lighting on the pier. Overall this place was perfect for what we were looking for.
