Sailmaker at Summer Beach is one of the most beautiful properties on the island and is located in the exclusive gated community of Summer Beach Resort right down the road from the world-renowned Ritz Carlton Amelia Island hotel and Spa. At the Ritz, you may indulge in fine dining, spa treatments, and golf.

As our guests, you will have access to our Golf Club of Amelia Island membership during your stay which provides access to the Oceanfront Beach Club Pool, exercise room, private award winning golf course, and tennis courts. Don't discount this valuable benefit!

Sailmaker is located about 1/2 mile South of the Ritz Carlton & 1.5 miles North of the Omni Amelia Island Resort. Both are great destinations with a variety of restaurants, shopping, golf, full spa services, and a variety of other activities. Downtown Fernandina is only 10 minutes away and is another great place for food, shopping and fun.

Great location for remote location for weddings at the Ritz Carlton or Omni Amelia Island Resort. Take advantage of walking distance to the Concours d'elegance. Great stay for Florida-Georgia Game, the Annual Shrimp Festival and the Amelia Island Jazz Festival.

Wonderfully welcoming

Great family getaway. We’re a bit budget crunched this year and it made a great place to enjoy waves and water and time together with family. Beds were comfy, accommodations were fantastic and the atmosphere was totally relaxing. Great trip and great place to stay!

Clean and Convenient

We enjoyed our stay very much. Condo was very nice and clean with an amazing view. Location was nice, not far from the historic area and larger hotels. Would stay again.

Wonderful Amelia Island Stay

This was our 2nd year straight coming to Amelia Island for our kids spring break. Both times we have stayed at Summer Beach. This property had just about everything we needed as well as some extra conveniences. Having access to to golf next door was a great perk.

Nice location

Great location on the beach and near to retail shopping. Amenities were as described. Only recommendation I would be to provide beach towels and a few bowls with lids for storing leftovers in fridge. Otherwise very nice location and accommodations.

Lovely place

This was a perfect place to have a beach vacation. The condo was lovely and had a well stocked kitchen. There was a gorgeous view of the beach, which was easily accessible from the condo. We appreciated that the condo was off the beaten track and generally quiet. That said, getting everywhere we wanted to go easy. We’d definitely stay here again!

Great place on a great beach

We stay at 10 plus properties a year and this was clean, well stocked, and easy to use. The laundry was inside and had soap and dryer sheets. The view of the sunrise is priceless. Thank you for doing VRBO right

Beautiful!

The property was very well equipped and clean. I wish the listing stated it had beach chairs, beach umbrellas and a tent. We ended up being ours. The view from our balcony was amazing. It’s located in a quiet area. It should be noted there are no elevators and only stairs. Overall a beautiful property.

Great rental for active families

We had a wonderful holiday at this updated condo. The location is excellent and we chose this property over others on Amelia Island because it offered not only an ocean view and beach access, but two well kept pools, tennis and pickleball courts and access to a nearby golf course at member rates. We took advantage of all of these facilities and would highly recommend the property to active families. While it was not ideal beach weather when we were there, the provision of beach chairs as part of the rental was an added plus. The owner was also highly responsive to our inquiries in advance of our arrival so that we could make the most of our trip.

Awesome experience

Everything in this unit is updated and very clean. The customer service with the property owners was top-notch. My family and I will definitely stay here again in the future. I’ve been to Fernandina Beach more than a dozen times, and this was the best place I have ever stayed.

Perfect beach holiday

We had a perfect stay at sailmaker - we ate breakfast watching the sunrise, dinners under the stars to crashing waves. The kitchen was fully outfitted. We are all our meals but one lunch in the condo. The access to the beach club was wonderful - in warmer weather we could have used the pool. We used the tennis courts which are just across the parking lot. Easy to make reservations. Beach access is easy and located in quiet part. We will definitely stay again!

Perfect beach condo!

We have rented this condo a couple of times and it is absolutely perfect! The view is gorgeous and the entire condo is updated and extremely well done! The owners are wonderful and easy to communicate with if need be… our entire family enjoyed our visit here and we will definitely be coming back again!

Very nice condo on the beach

We had a great stay at this condo. Sunrise ocean views from the balcony. Modern and well appointed kitchen. Comfy beds. It’s a short walk over the boardwalk bridge to the beach. The pool is very close. Overall very nice and clean with a convenient location. Could have used a few hooks in the bathroom to make it even better. Would recommend and would like to return.

Great Experience

Great access to a beautiful beach. The views from the balcony are spectacular and the sunrises are breathtaking. We enjoyed viewing the nesting turtles that live in the dunes between the beach and the condo property. Everything about the condo was great. John and Lisa checked in with us often and are great hosts. All in all this is a perfect vacation setting. We will definitely come back again

Biking, shelling and great food

Wonderful biking trails for a family. We rode from end to end. The nature areas were filled with animals and safe for viewing. Food was delicious!

Great get-away

We were new to Amelia Island and selected this condo based on location and reviews. It was spacious (2 floors with bedrooms upstairs) so we were able to work and play without getting in each other's way. There's a short walk to a nice quiet beach., and both pools are very close to the condo. We had fun exploring downtown Fernandina Beach and the condo owners gave us great suggestions for restaurants. We will definitely try to stay here again!

Perfection

First of all, John and Lisa were great to work with. John went above and beyond expectations with communication. The property was exceptionally clean. The location was great, both pools were in close proximity to the condo. The view from the balcony was just like the pictures show. We will definitely look at this property again for our next visit to the island.
