We feel it is important to address this 1-star review, which was left without any comments. The review appears to be a reaction from a disgruntled guest upset that we upheld our policy by not allowing her to exceed the maximum occupancy limit by five additional guests, as doing so would have violated fire regulations. Throughout her stay, Megan did not communicate any concerns or dissatisfaction. We trust that future renters will see this review for what it is—an unfair attempt to harm our small business—rather than an accurate reflection of the high-quality accommodations and service we consistently provide. Our proven track record of 5-star ratings highlights the exceptional experiences we strive to deliver. Unfortunately, this incident underscores a broader flaw in the review system, which often leaves property owners at a disadvantage. This review is currently under active investigation by VRBO for potential removal. Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions—we will be happy to provide any additional information or assistance.

Welcome to Wiley Bear Creek Cabin! We're Jackie and Eddie, a husband-and-wife duo who fell in love with the Smokies and decided to turn that dream into something we could share. Eddie is an Army veteran and retired firefighter — he's got some great stories if you ask! I'm a full-time homemaker, mom, and grandma, so I know how important it is to have a welcoming place to unwind.

In 2021, we bought our first lot and built Wiley Bear with our family in mind. What began as a personal getaway turned into MyCNCCabins, our family-run cabin rental business, officially launched in 2022. Since then, we've built a second cabin and are putting the finishing touches on a third — soon to be available for guests!

Our family loves to travel and cherishes time spent together in beautiful spots like this, and we can't wait to share our little slice of paradise with you. We're honored to host and happy to help make your stay truly unforgettable.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out — we're just a message away.

Warmly,
Jackie and Eddie
