Great place for our little getaway!

This condo was in a great location for us to be able to do all the things we wanted to in Daytona Beach. The condo itself was very clean. It was nicely decorated and we appreciated the basket of snacks provided. Jessica was very easy to communicate with and answered any questions we had quickly. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Great Experience

We had a great experience here. The unit was spotless. You could tell the host had gone to a lot of trouble and thought to make sure it was fully prepared. Some of my favorite things were the keurig with the carousel of options. Everything was fresh and neat. We were not staying for a beach trip but loved the beach supplies that were provided. We will definitely book this same property on another trip.

Nice place to stay near Daytona!

I was pleased with this property. Very saddened by the devastation of hurricane recently. None of the pools where open. My only criticism would be the bathroom towels need to be replaced. They smelt like they were from a smokers home. Debbie

Some Issues

This condo is older and was not on the beach side of the complex although the pictures lead you to believe it is. The view is of the roof below. This studio condo needs some attention. The bed needs to be replaced as does the cookware provided. When we visited, none of the pools nor the hot tub where operating (no fault of the owner, but be aware to make sure it’s operational before booking).It is close to many attractions in the Daytona Beach area.

Bad vacation

No pool, only one elevator worked. Had to walk around the building to get access to the beach. All of the pools were down due to the hurricane. It didn't look like anyone was working to get them up and running. There was only one dryer working in the laundry. The hallway had a musky smell. The room we stay in there was mold on the shower curtain. Microwave the inside was rusted out in the bottom. It needed to be replaced. I would not recommend staying at Dayton Beach Resort.

Some discrepancies apply

As of May 2025 everything except for the rooms are closed. I mean everything, If it's not a rental room in the building it's closed. You will have to walk to the public access to get to the beach. This means our the front of the building, and around the parking lot. Keep this in mind if you plan to bring items to the beach. You may also spend alot of time in the lobby because most of the elevators are not functional. Outside the fact everything is closed due to hurricane damage this building is kept remarkably clean, inside and outThis was booked well in advance because anything close to the Daytona raceway being fully booked quickly for the event I like to attend. Apparently since when I booked to when I used the resort this listing went from a resort to a motel 6 without notice or reduction of costs to me. Being this is Florida, weather can change quickly and cause outdoor events to be closed. This is why I choose this listing, the indoor pool, game room, and diner on site. Reminder, these are all closed as of 5/25.On the positive side the room is nicely furnished, clean and simple. It may be listed as a condo, but really it's basically a hotel room with a in counter electric stove. Still, if your plan is just to use it for sleeping and a basic meal its fine. I was fine with it being a small dwelling.Just keep in mind unless you are reading this well past 5/25 this location is likely still waiting for insurance companies to pay up to fix the building

Slightly disappointed

My husband and I stayed at Daytona Beach in 2008. We feel in love with the pkace. The condo(room) we stayed in was very nice! I thought it was ocean view, but iI belive that was my mistake for not asking. But we didnt realize when we booked our vacation, that the resort had been hit by 2 hurricanes and was in such bad shape. The pictures still showed the beautiful resort we fell in love with. When we arrived, we were devastated to see the damage done to the resort. All 3 pools were closed. The inside pool was closed, although it looked fine. One of the outside pools was filled but because the pool deck was in bad shape it remained closed. The pool deck arpund the other pool and the kiddie pool was torn up. Part of the deck, still falling onto the beach. We had our 2 granddaughters, ages 5 and 7, with us and they had a very good time. Having a pool would have made it much better. But to see our girls enjoying the ocean and beach for thie first time was worth a million.

Christmas in Daytona

Jessica’s place was perfect for the 3 of us. The only reason I gave a 4 rating on the accuracy of on line listing was because the indoor pool and hot tub were closed. The bed is extremely comfortable and we especially appreciated the coffee, tea and snacks that were provided. We’d love to stay again in the future.

Our condo is located on the 5th floor of Daytona Beach Resort. The resort sits directly on Daytona Beach and has direct beach access. We chose this condo because of the family-friendly amenities the resort offers: 3 outdoor pools with a tiki bar, 1 indoor pool with a hot tub, an arcade, a fitness gym, and so much more.

**Please note, due to Hurricane Ian & Nicole, the outdoor pools, indoor pool, and hot tub are not available at this time.

DBR is also conveniently located to so many area attractions:
- Daytona Beach Resort is 8 miles from Daytona Beach International Airport.
- Daytona International Speedway, 7 miles from Daytona Beach Resort, hosts the iconic Daytona 500 NASCAR race as well as daily tours.
- The boardwalk, 3 miles from our condo, offers rides and arcades. The Daytona Beach Bandshell stages free summer concerts.
- Daytona Lagoon water park, 3 miles from Daytona Beach Resort, offers go-karts, laser tag, and waterslides.
- The space coast / Kennedy Space Center is 67 miles away.
- Walt Disney World and Orlando attractions are 75 miles away.

The beach has hard-packed sand where driving is permitted in designated areas.
