Great place in central Waikiki

Great place to stay, close to everything. The best part it is across the Yard House. Fun activities to do at the hotel.

Great Location

The location is perfect for convenience to shops, restaurants, and beach. All hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming. The appliances are very new but the unit is a bit outdated. Overall great for a few days vacation.

This property is poorly maintained!

Condo building- beds and pillows are old and uncomfortable. Sewage smell in pool area. I’ve machine located in dark parking garage. We experienced rodents scratching behind bedroom wall, they sent staff to investigate. Staff advised it was likely ants and they would fumigate. Called 2nd time to ask for manager to attend room as it was not ants it was rodents, evening manager said “what do you want me to do about it?” We were denied move to other room as they said place was full. We had to stay there and sleep in room that they sprayed for ants. Day before checkout they slipped note under door that pest control would finally treat room. Place is very dated and worn with the exception of the lobby. We were charged parking even though we had no vehicle. The owner Ray empathized with our concerns and agreed to refund 2 nights of our stay but only provided a portion and said we were on our own to go after Vrbo and property for other fees. We have been getting the run around from Vrbo for over a week. They are illegally holding taxes and fees that comprise the daily fees and every time I talk to someone I spend 30 min to 2 hours re explaining the situation. I DO NOT recommend using Vrbo unless you want to see someone pass the buck when an issue arises. Property agreed to waive $10 per night and delete false charge for parking but told me that because we prepaid through Vrbo they could not refund any money. DO NOT use Vrbo! Beyond frustrating!

Aloha: Sorry for any issues. We did supply guest with additional pillows on his request, Asked managment company to check into any possioble smells in pool area, and there were none, so disagree with guests comments there Also, this is the tropics and we do our pest to service all condos against any un wanted visitors. We tried to move guest to another room, but they did not want to move. We gave guest full 2-night refund for any possible inconvenience, but that was still not enough for him. Once in a while get someone who will find fault with everything, and we apologive for this person negativity. To all future renters, please see our other reviews, most all of our other guests love the property and give us great views. Its a very nice property We are in great location, full service amenites, super friendly staff. Property has also been awarded one of the 'top picks' for many years in a row by Hawaii Magazine. Please reserve with us. as this is a very unusual occurrence. Aloha, ray/hawaii rentals
