Centrally located and nestled amongst Pine trees, this 3 bedroom 2 bath Cabin is within walking distance of South Lake Tahoe beaches and Bijou Municipal Golf Course. A short 1.7 mile drive to Heavenly Ski Resort, Casinos. Hiking, biking, shopping, restaurants, swimming, kayaking, boating, jet skiing, and more all too close. If you are a boater you can rent a tie up across the street at Timber Cove Lodge...walking distance from the house. Safeway is located about a 1/4 mile away for easy access. Snow removal is already taken care of, so when you show up the driveway is clear!

Front room has 3 couches, dining table with 8 chairs, and 42' Flat Panel TV and gas fireplace. Kitchen is fully stocked and has all brand new appliances. Also, there are three bar stools along the counter. The master bedroom has a king bed, private bathroom with a walk in shower, sliding glass door to backyard and its own TV with DVD Player. The Second and Third bedrooms have a Queen/twin bunk beds. Both have TV and DVD Players. There is a tank-less water heater, so everyone gets a hot shower.

It is ideal for families with children because of the closed in backyard and shade from the hot sun if desired or the hardwood floors for the occasional spill in the great room. We also have kids plates, cups, gates, pack & play and a high chair.

About The Owner

We are a family owned property and have always enjoyed Tahoe. We have been coming up for over 30 years and felt the timing was right to get our little slice of Tahoe.

The Owner purchased this house in 2009

Why The Owner chose Rancho Bijou

We chose this area due to the close proximity of the Beaches, Golf, Ski/Snowboarding, Park and the Casinos.

What makes this house unique

Staying at our property you will enjoy how close everything is from the front door. You can be golfing, or at the beach or shopping at Safeway within minutes. Heavenly Ski Resort is 3 minutes away, and the Casinos are 5 minutes(furthest distance from house and they are only 1.7 miles away). Times are subject to hitting a red light or green light, but not the Golf Course.

Also, we are very close to Bijou Park which has updated play structures, a 27 hole Frisbee Golf Course, Volleyball nets, skate park, picnic areas, snack bar, two dog parks, etc...

What a great find - a short walk from Ski Run Blvd., nice décor, well stocked kitchen (appliances), easy to find and use as a base for activities at South Shore and Stateline. Highly recommend, will book again if we can!

Great Place to Stay!

Our family just came back from our annual snow trip and we truly enjoyed staying on this property. It is well maintained, clean and updated. If you have children, they have games, toys and even kid-friendly dishes/utensils available for you to use. They are close to Safeway and CVS if you need to make a quick run to the store. The owners are quick to respond to emails and answer questions; very helpful. They have a great front and backyard where our kids were able to play. The owners do have a checklist of things to do before leaving so make sure you go through each item carefully. Nothing out of the ordinary and it really is to help maintain the quality of their property.

We loved staying on this property and hope that we can come back again!

Great family home in South Lake Tahoe

This is a beautiful home in a fantastic location, and it was perfect for our family of 5. Our three kids loved the huge bunk beds and the closet full of toys. We loved that Safeway was only a few blocks away and we didn't have to battle South Lake Tahoe Blvd to get groceries. Everything we needed was within a short driving distance. The fenced in backyard was awesome, and the 3+ feet of snow covering it was a huge bonus for the kids. We will definitely be back and we highly recommend it.
