As seen on the Travel Channel! An authentic 120 year old log cabin and grist mill directly between a trout stream and a catch and release pond! You can relax on the 3 level acres. This cabin offers all the comforts of home with 2 electric fireplaces including the upstairs master bedroom, hot tub with cafe lights under a gazebo steps from the creek, charcoal grill, smart TV, Xfinity wifi. Rockers on the front+back porches. Easy access, no mountain roads! Come enjoy the quaint solitude of East Gatlinburg.

The cabin was perfecttttt! I spent every spare minute on the back porch. I could rock and listen to the stream all day!Everything was very clean. Hot tub was great!Host messaged me shortly after arriving to make sure we made it in and had everything that we needed. Just a short distance to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Cherokee. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!!

We loved the quiet location of this cabin. My fella enjoyed fishing in the pond and I enjoyed drinking my coffee on the deck, listening to the sounds of the stream. The bed was comfortable. The shower had good water pressure. Good location. We would definitely stay there again.

This was the perfect place! The stream’s bubbling sound was so comforting and peaceful. No need to travel to enjoy nature, it is all right there! Property is very tidy, neat and welcoming. Fishing right on the property! Easy to park, very quiet area. Highly recommended for a couple needing a getaway!

I have so much to say and they cut me off!! The place is great!! Super clean, excellent host and listening to that water from the deck…what more could you ask for? The host is amazing. Best we’ve had by far. Communication exceeded expectations. The home is well equipped to bunker down and relax if that is what you’re after but close enough to all major attractions. The road the house is on doesn’t go through anymore but the host had detailed instructions from every possible direction coming in. Although I personally found finding a business close to it in the gps to be easier that trying to navigate like we did in the old days. I wanted to provide a super detailed review but a character limit has decided I won’t! All I can say is do it. You won’t regret it.

The property is great

I wish I could give a 4.5. The property itself was great. Well stocked in necessities, quiet, creek, living the life. The only .5 I wanted to take away was that the drop pin listed on VRBO makes it seem like it's legit in downtown Gatlinburg. It's east outside of, which was a further drive than we anticipated. Other than that, it's spot on. Great rental!Photo is across the water from the little street.

We have nothing but great things to say about this cabin! Booked it for a birthday/romantic getaway. We went fishing every morning and evening. We caught bass and blue gill in the pond. Unfortunately, we did not get anything in the creek but we were told after the fact our area did not get stocked with trout (we will know for next visit). Everything was clean and we had everything we needed. It did have an old cabin smell to it-but we got used to it and it wasn't bad. Would LOVE to know the history of the cabin-kept trying to find it online (we are history people).. Such a perfect getaway and we would definitely stay there again. We are going to post a video of the views/ pictures of cabin and fish we caught on social media. Its not yet posted but we plan to post this week to advertise because we loved it so much! Except for the little oops with hot tub when we got there….the stay was excellent. Response time and fix was super. Communication Very responsive. Cabin was very rustic and peaceful. Would recommend new fitted sheet…doesn’t stay tight on bed, otherwise bed was very comfortable. Overall great time…would definitely stay there again

Peaceful and relaxing

We really enjoyed our stay. We loved the pond fishing and the sound of the river was so soothing. I would stay there again 100%! I just wish that we could have had access to the river from the cabin side. Wonderful host and comfy cabin to relieve stress! Overall we really loved it!

We love the history of this cabin and the secluded location complete with creek and pond.

Just 10-20 minutes to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. East Gatlinburg just down the road from Gatlinburg Downtown in a quiet part where it's easy to access the action yet you dont have to be overwhelmed by it. Easy access to multiple park entrances!
