Warm and wonderful log cabin overlooking great fly water.

  • 5 of 5

Charming three bedroom log cabin with a large back deck with grill and ample seating. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials. The living room was comfortable and had dish tv and wifi. A spiral staircase led to an additional seating area on the second floor with a 3/4 bathroom and large bedroom. The first floor had two more bedrooms and a full bath.

Dunsmuir was a cute, historic town with several small restaurants and stores. We had a great time. Mike Marshall was a super host!

Perfect Cabin for a Fisherman

  • 5 of 5

Awesome little cabin, well its really not little at all. You have two rooms downstairs and one big one upstairs with two beds in it plus a large seating area with TV. Having TV's in each room was a big plus since I like to watch while going to sleep. The cabin had everything one needs and then some. Especially the spice assortment, didn't expect that. You just bring food, coffee and beer and your fly rod of course. Thanks for the washer, dryer and soap. I didn't expect to use it but after falling into the river one night it was nice to be able to wash and dry my cloths. Those rocks are slippery! We had a great stay, wish it was longer, but would definitely come back since you can fish in the back yard or take a short trip to other nearby Trout waters. Thanks Mike for a great little set up. Will be back soon.

Most Excellent

  • 5 of 5

The house is spacious and comfortable, and the proximity to the River (50 feet) is wonderful. Biggest fish of the trip (21 - 22 inches) were caught in the backyard pool on the River. Unreal.

Walking proximity to town is a big plus. Enjoyed the week there!
