A perfect 4-bedroom retreat that sleeps 8 (1 king, 2 queens, 2 twins) plus a roll-away bed and 2 more on the couches. Located approximately 3 miles south of McCloud, you will enjoy the peace and quiet of nature with tall pines and access to Squaw Creek. This four bedroom, 2 bath, home built in 2000 offers modern appliances, wood stove, central heat, vaulted ceilings and picture windows with views to your own private forest, year-round creek and picnic areas. Also enjoy a big deck with propane barbecue. Other amenities include a fully furnished kitchen with Jenn-Aire stove, satellite TV and DVD, WiFi, and Bluetooth music system.

Within about a 10-minute drive you'll find ... Two golf courses, a multi-screen cinema, restaurants, skiing, trophy fishing streams/rivers, lakes, state parks, waterfalls with swimming holes, and plenty of peace and quiet.

This was our second year there and it just leaves us in awe every time, so beautiful and peaceful. The house is huge and comfortable with everything you could possibly need. Living room floor to ceiling windows make waking up to the sunrise amazing! Creek in the back is a great place to just sit with a cup of coffee and relax. The area has a great organic grocery market and a great restaurant called Baldovinos! Hiking and lake swimming are all just few miles away and a great drive. See you next year!!

Another great stay; everything was perfect. Mt. Shasta right up the road, and a cozy cabin to come home to after a day on the slopes. I highly recommend this cabin for a ski trip getaway!

Ruth and her family were the perfect guests! Even though a tree fell on our well and broke our water system, they were patient and understanding as we tried our best to fix the problem. Unfortunately, our well company couldn't get it done quickly so we happily reimbursed all their money so they could find other accommodations ... with water. We'd love to have them back again to make things right!

Our group has been blessed to stay here multiple times! This year was another great visit. The place is always well maintained and cared for. Well stocked kitchen and awesome views. Walter is GREAT to work with and very quick to respond. We had to modify our visit this year and Walter went above and beyond to help us make our visit work with our changing schedule!
