A short stroll from your door leads to your own private stretch of Squaw Creek (renamed Yet Atwam Creek) — the perfect spot for a morning coffee or an evening wade.

Built in 2000, the home blends rustic charm with modern comfort: vaulted ceilings, oversized picture windows framing views of your private forest and meadow, a cozy wood stove for chilly nights, and central heat for year-round ease. The fully equipped kitchen features a Jenn-Air stove, ready for everything from pancake breakfasts to full holiday dinners. Unwind on the expansive deck with a propane BBQ, stream your favorite shows over WiFi and Smart TV, or set the mood with the Bluetooth sound system.

Sleeping arrangements: 1 king, 2 queens, 2 twins, plus a roll-away and 2 couch beds — comfortably accommodating families, couples' getaways, or groups of friends.

We can’t recommend this cozy home enough. You can feel that there is a ton of love there and it would be perfect for large families or a weekend getaway for two. The view out the windows is the perfect place to enjoy a book and the access to the creek is very peaceful. I miss it already.

We enjoyed our stay; this type of home was just what we were looking for!The stream and water-front descriptions are not quite what was expected as there is no actual view of the stream until you walk right upon it, but this does not take away from the well-kept, wonderfully equipped home.

Our long weekend at the Mathew‘s cabin was incredible. Communication with the host was seamless and check-in process was as well. The cabin was perfect for our group and had an incredible view and easy access to a beautiful creek. The host was gracious enough to supply me with lots of fishing tips and information. We plan on returning soon.

Everything was as expected and more so.Host was very accomodating. The home was surrounded by tall pines. The AC unit kept everything cool in during the 100 degree weather. Open windows at night cooled the home perfectly for the next day. We plan to use this place soon. Cheers!

Wonderful vacation home. The host was great in giving information before we arrived. Fast internet. I loved the big window and having coffee in the morning and seeing the bucks in the yard. The stream was awesome to sit and relax by. Very spacious and had everything we needed. Very close to town for shopping. Had plenty of room for a couple trucks and a boat. Will definitely book here again when I go to Mc Cloud for vacation!

The Cabin and the whole experience was perfect! Location was amazing, secluded, yet we were 5 minutes from town/20 minutes to Shasta/lakes! Our family gets a cabin every summer, we typically stay closer to home(Arnold, Tahoe etc.) but decided to venture out and so glad we did! We all agreed this has been the BEST cabin yet! We hope to be back next summer.Walter was so nice, quick to respond/answer questions, accomodating, etc. Much appreciated!Cabin itself was exactly as shown/pictured. Plenty of room for our family of 7 plus dogs, nicely equipped with essentials and extras, and clean. Location was the best part, so quiet & peaceful. Saw deer, chipmunks, & bats from the deck, plus a bear on our walk through the neighborhood. The creek in the back was wonderful, we spent a lot of time there.Again, thanks to an amazing host and beautiful cabin in the woods.Hope to be back! Josette

Great trip for our family

The cabin was very well kept, and there were lots of fun things to do nearby in the town or on the trail. We had a great time relaxing at the cabin with our family and had really positive interactions with our host. Would stay again!

Perfect Cabin and location

We purchased this 2.5 acre lot back in 1973 and spent years camping in the meadow. After the kids got old enough to complain about camping AND could afford to help pay for a mortgage ... we built this wonderful vacation home. Now, we spend winters skiing at Mt. Shasta and summers fishing the McCloud and other area rivers. The town is absolutely wonderful. Don't miss this!
