It’s not fancy but it’s got everything we need: comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, outdoor shower and carport/lanai. Location is convenient to the beach and to town.

Feeling like a local!

Nestled in Hanalei’s neighborhood this cottage is a short walk to the bay. A blast from the past, it’s well cared for and well appointed.

The perfect stay in Hanalei Bay

Our stay at the Malolo cottage was perfect for our family, even with 2 kids under 3. Close enough to walk to the beach, comfortable living space in the house, and quiet neighborhood. The house has everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again next time we visit Hanalei Bay!

Mololo cottage

We had a wonderful stay in the mololo cottage. Minutes walk to the beach, minutes walk to town, minutes walk to Farmers market. This really was central to everything we wanted to do up here in hanalei. Perfect stay in a perfect place!

Great place (after construction)

Property and location were great and just as advertised. Only reason for not a 5 star review was the heavy construction next door that was not communicated.

Wonderful little traditional cottage!!!

We loved our time here! Home was very clean and well maintained, location was perfect! Two blocks from Hanalei town and about the same distance to the beach. Quiet neighborhood, great views of mountains . Well stocked kitchen, adequate linens, comfortable beds! Would definitely stay here again, thanks!!

Great cottage for small family

This cottage was charming and beautifully located. We felt like we were staying in a cabin, but instead of a cabin by a lake (we are from Minnesota) it was a cabin by the ocean! This was our favorite place to stay by far. Cottage had all the necessities and then some:). We will be back.

Close to town

Close to town so easy to walk to shops and food. It is a studio with two I believe full size bed side-by-side so we’re perfect for me and my 20 year old daughter to stay out together. There is a full kitchen. Close to the ocean as well although a bit of a walk if you are caring Surf Boards

Great stay in perfect location

What you see is what you get, in a good way. Simple, but comfortable house in a great location close to the beach and town. We (a couple) had a great 5 day stay. While not ultra-luxurious, the house was spotless. We only made breakfast and drinks, but found everything we needed in the kitchen. Couch and bed were comfortable. We were there in warm Sept. and never needed AC. Overall, would recommend!!

Awesome trip for our small family

This was our 4th trip to the north shore and we wanted to have a solo family trip (no friends or family) this time. The Malolo Cottage was the perfect choice. The short walk to the beach and large yard made our trip very relaxing and memorable. The property managers were very communicative and reminded us to put out the trash each week. They also helped us quickly when the internet went offline during a wind storm. The house was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. I would highly recommend this property for a couple or a small family like ours.

Good

Cottage pretty much as expected but inside shower is really small stall. Great for a couple; would not want to stay there with more adults. The covered patio is really nice, views of mountains to west. Nice to be able to park right outside the door. Very quiet neighborhood. Beach access is too far to walk carrying chairs and stuff. Management company was responsive and helpful.

We're big fans of Hanalei, and even though it's obviously gentrifying, we're so grateful that there are still some simple homes there, like in the "old days." I did yoga every night under the stars on the soft lawn. We ate breakfast every morning on the lanai. We went to the beach every day, and used the washer/dryer and the clothes line to keep our clothes clean and dry during our stay. Oh, and did I mention the orange trees in the yard? And of course everything in Hanalei is walking distance. We can't wait to come back. Mahalo for your hospitality!
