This spacious "Authentic Caribe-Spanish Beach Front Home" has been completely renovated with top of the line amenities and it shows from the large comfortable rooms, Central air conditioning (5 ton unit) with air vents in every room, Custom windows and new furniture and beds throughout. Completely renovated with all the modern amenities, but still has that charm and character of years gone past and wonderful feel of the Caribbean beach house it is, nestled among the Coconut Palms along the sea shore. Open your back door to the views of a lush tropical back yard, ending at your own beach and the beautiful Caribbean sea. Not just a gorgeous view, This is true private ocean front property, and it does make a difference, in clearer waters, real coral reefs and off shore breezes that only ocean front property can provide.
This colorful Spanish hideaway sits at the far end of a little fishing village called Patillas 'The Emerald of the South' Wrap around porches for shade and cool breezes. This home offers new living room furniture, cable, & DVD players, large screen tv and entertainment center in living room & tv, dvd player master bdrm, with wifi Internet, and Ceiling fans throughout. Large Galley Kitchen with views of the sea, has everything you need with full size appliances including brand new stainless steel gas stove with oven, (For Holiday meals) with new stainless Fridge and microwave. Separate laundry room tucked away off the kitchen with full size washer, dryer. 4 large bdrms and 2 full baths. Extra large Master bedroom has King size bed with memory foam mattress and an extra large on-suite master bath to match. Our second bdrm easily fits a queen bed with plenty of closet space. The third bdrm has bunk beds, a desk for office space or kids and more closet space. The fourth bdrm is roomy enough for a new double bed and twin. Our home has an open plan with dining and spacious living room with a wall of large picture windows looking out to sea and custom bamboo glass shutters with custom made stained glass arched windows above throughout this home.

This is one of a handful of home rentals on the entire island that is truly right on a Coconut Palm tree lined quiet beach. Swing on the hammocks or set your chairs in the sand and warm clear blue waters edge or have a picnic on the grass under the coconut palms. Enjoy the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets you will ever see. All on the Caribbean sea. A dream vacation home for all ages.

This is due to being fortunate enough to have a most important combination of a beautiful home with the perfect location AND my amazing and well trained staff! We are a team of six and being a company means our only priority is you and your vacation experience. We are small but mighty! We all work hard and love what we do. This is why we are consistently #1 and proud of it.
Points of Interest: Charco Azul an area with two lakes and Carite Forest a small rain forest Park, with paved paths, there are fresh water pools and streams to walk along all with in 20 min from the house. With beautiful mountain drive amazing views. A day excursion minutes from house. Bo. Guardarraya Patillas known as (The Emerald of the South) is known for its clean beautiful beaches, snorkeling, fishing and authentic Puerto Rican charm. There are several restaurants in town with some just a walk down the beach. World class golf resorts, Sport Fishing, Camuy Caves, Scuba, Horse back riding, and Hiking the El Yunque Rain Forest are all a short drive.
Shopping and Fresh Catch of the Day: Shopping, Groceries , restaurants, kayak and jet ski rentals are all under 5 min. away. This is an authentic little fishing village where the locals fish most everyday. I have two fishermen who will fish just for my guests so Just ask and my property manager will gladly bring the fresh catch of the day right to your door. Lobster and blue crab when in season or cut and cleaned fish year round. Another option for a bit more adventure you can also go down and meet our locals at the public beach marina just 5 minutes from the house. At about 12:30 pm when the fisherman come in, you can buy fish at incredible prices. They are very friendly and very much appreciate your buying their fish. Always proud of their catch, They will cut and clean it for you on the spot. You can then take it to the local road side restaurant across the street and they will cook it for you. Or of course you can take it home for that fresh catch of the day BBQ. There is truly no other town like this on the island.
We have three homes in this great little town with very private accommodations from each other. Large families can share a vacation using any combination of our Casa Caribe homes.

About the owner: We are Dave and Sherry and live in San Diego California and plan on retiring in two years to spring and summer in San Diego and fall and winter in Puerto Rico with our children and grandchildren. We have rented out our home in Puerto Rico for the past eight years and it has been an amazing journey making dream vacations come true and to share our little piece of paradise with wonderful people like you from every corner of the world.
Why the Owner Chose Jacaboa, Patillas, Puerto Rico:
We travel quite a bit as empty nesters and wanted to find a home somewhere in the tropics. We bought in Puerto Rico, because it is a fresh clean green island and is US territory. Honestly the topography reminds us of a mini Costa Rica. With out the long flight and of course no passport needed for US citizens like us. It was the perfect fit for us as we had stayed on the island several times through the years and knew this is where we wanted to settle down. We are very American, and wanted a diverse culture like Puerto Rico has and still feel we are safe in our surroundings. Best of both worlds. I have felt at home there at every visit and then from the day we bought our property. We now know our neighbors and local business owners in our little town. We bring them business and in turn they take care of us and our guests. We find our guests have always been made to feel welcome as well. We have had guests come and stay from all over the world!
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We spent a month looking at over 40 homes on every side of Puerto Rico for just the right home to buy. When we saw this property we knew this was it. The location was amazing, right out of a story book and the house simply true Authentic Puerto Rican beach home. Spanish architecture, terrazzo floors, All concrete with a Spanish veranda wrapped around this house. We just came in a gave it a good cleaning and great amenities, with new windows, the central air etc. This old house needed TLC. We did just that! The house had great bones and charm. You can renovate a house. But of course NOT the location! The scenic views from the back yard were just breath taking. The location could not be beat. Now we have best of both worlds! A beautiful house full of charm and a location that dreams are made of. We are unigue in that we are truly on a sandy oceanfront property and the beach is lined as far as you can see both ways with Coconut palm trees. Not a tourist area, untouched beaches with sea shells all over the sand and such friendly people. We are glad that we have contributed by bringing business to this little fishing village, restaurants, and shops. Authentic Puerto Rico at it's finest. We have been all over this tropical green island, and we know there is no place as beautiful as our little secret treasure on 'The Emerald of the South'
