PETS
We are a pet friendly property and want to make sure that your canine companion is comfortable in their temporary home. If you are traveling with a dog - or two - please let us know so that we can provide you with bowls and bedding. You and your pup will have access to the large, fully fenced backyard. We do require a $50 pet fee per dog per stay.
THE AREA
Wynkoop at Carlton is located conveniently in the heart of historic downtown Carlton. Just three blocks in length, this tiny but mighty town packs a ton of brick-clad charm. Over a dozen tasting rooms and just as many restaurants are within a five-minute walk of the property. For all your shopping needs, there are a handful of cute boutiques with local food and wine, sundries, and gifts on offer.
There is plenty of wine to be found beyond the tasting rooms in downtown Carlton - the Yamhill-Carlton AVA boasts over 50 member wineries that are all within a 20-minute drive from the property.
For even more dining and imbibing options, the college towns of McMinnville and Newberg are about a 12 and 15-minute drive from Wynkoop at Carlton and offer many more options for food, shopping, and entertainment.

About the host
Hosted by Olivia
Hey! We're your hosts, Nathan and Olivia.
We love traveling and exploring new cities together and are enthusiastic - though admittedly not very knowledgeable - about wine. We decided to combine these passions when we purchased this home away from home in the heart of Oregon's wine country and are now opening up our doors to fellow travelers looking to explore the Willamette Valley.
As a native Oregonian, Nathan has extensive knowledge of the area and a great appreciation for the state's natural beauty. He's got a penchant for debate, an encyclopedic knowledge of whisky, and an impressive collection of books that he might let you borrow.
Though newer to the West Coast and Oregon specifically, Olivia is finding herself a secret PNW convert. She loves architecture and design and is an avid antiquer and general collector of old things.
