Property is exactly as described and is a comfortable stay away from home. It was an easy 30 minutes to Dreams Park. Host was very responsive and answered all of my questions prior to/during the stay! Check in and out was easy and seamless.
5 star experience minus the property description not highlighting full size beds. The host did confirm in a communication though. Our family of 3 stayed while our son was at Dreams Park. The WiFi in the home was perfect and allowing our dog to stay was a big win for us. Although the drive is about 25 mins, you feel the relaxation as soon as pull into the driveway. It was nice to get away from the park and be able to unwind at the property. The home was perfect for our needs and met all of our expectations. Thanks for having us.
Absolutely! Here’s a more playful, baseball-inspired review:Here’s a version that’s upbeat, memorable, and perfect for a Cooperstown family:This place was an absolute home run for our Cooperstown baseball adventure! After long days at the ballfields, it was the perfect spot to come back, relax, and recharge for the next game. The house was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of room for our family. One of our favorite parts was simply looking outside and enjoying the incredible wildlife. We saw deer, wild turkeys, rabbits, ground hog and so many birds—it felt like we had front-row seats to nature every morning and evening! The peaceful setting in Burlington Flats was exactly what we needed after the excitement of tournament days, while still being an easy drive to Cooperstown. The hosts knocked it out of the park with their communication and hospitality, making everything easy from check-in to check-out.If you’re headed to Cooperstown for baseball and want a relaxing place to make family memories between games, don’t think twice—this is the place. We’d happily stay here again in a heartbeat!
We were in town for Cooperstown Dreams Park. From the time we booked until we left the home, everything was perfect with the rental. Communication with the host was great. Check in was easy and the house was clean and cozy and had everything we needed. The property was beautiful to walk around and explore. The location was convenient and just far enough from the fields and downtown so we enjoyed the country roads and being in the mountains. Thank you for an unforgettable vacation!
We wanted a location close to area events that we attend annually. The cabin was clean, had the amenities we wanted, and it was located in a quiet rural setting. Our host, Krystina provided us with all of the information required for a very pleasant stay (and the bottle of wine you left us was wonderful!). We very much recommend this location!
Nice country drive in close proximity to Cooperstown Dream Park. We lost count on all of the wildlife we saw. The hosts were very accommodating and kept an open line of communication. The home was a nice place to relax during down time. The house is a short drive to downtown Cooperstowns with many must see shops and restaurants. We highly recommend this location!
We stayed here for a week while our son played in Cooperstown. It was about 25 mins away from Dreams Park and was the perfect get away from the noise. The house was really clean and a lot of thought had been put in to making your stay awesome! The stargazing at night was a huge addition to our stay as you can sit outside and view the stars for hours.we would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to visit the area. Krystina was an amazing host and extremely communicative from the time we booked until the time we left.
The house was very clean. The owner left us a bottle of wine and some goodies which was a very nice touch. The scenery is beautiful.
*When we got to the house there was no water but the owner drove 5 hrs to fix it and all was good. It was just a fluke, an air bubble got in the line.
Very quiet and away from traffic and even people! Was a nice get away my son played in Cooperstown so it was a good like 30 min drive but would wake up to birds singing in the morning and beavers in the yard, something we are not used to. Even did some exploring there with nice walks.Felt nice getting away from the busy city life to have some peace and quiet. Kitchen was well equipped with all things necessary and the whole house was very comfy. Good distance to the downtown area and restaurants. Would totally recommend if your looking for a nice get away.

We stayed at this house for a baseball tournament at Cooperstown. It was one of the only places we could find that allowed dogs. The house was set up nicely for our dog with a mat for her food and water, dog bed and even a backyard leash for the dog. We were not happy with the distance it took to get to Dreams Park, although it was around 20 miles it took at least 30 minutes without traffic lights. It was also 30 minutes to go to a grocery store or to a restaurant. The house itself was dark inside. It was HOT, we expected that there would not be central a/c but the window unit was on the other side of the house. The bedrooms had small windows and we had to leave the doors open in attempt to get some air from the window unit, didn’t work. There was one fan, we gave it to our kids. Lastly but probably most importantly, they had just had a new well put it a month ago. When we arrived the water was dark brown, we contacted the owner and they said to run the water. My husband had to work that day so he stayed home and ran the water all day. It did not do much to alleviate the situation. We contacted the owner and encouraged him to call the well company. We arrived on a Sunday, the well company came on Tuesday. They never told us how long it would take to fix, after 2 hours, my husband asked and was told it would take all day. We had not showered since Sunday and had to get to a baseball game. We quickly grabbed clothes and drove 40 min to a teammates house to shower.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m glad to hear you appreciated that our home is dog-friendly and set up with items to make pets comfortable.
I would like to clarify several points for future guests:
Location: The exact address, photos, and details of the home are listed clearly on VRBO before booking. Guests are able to see the property’s location, use Google Maps, and calculate travel times to Cooperstown Dreams Park, grocery stores, and restaurants prior to making a reservation. I want to stress that this information is available before booking so families can decide if the location works for their needs. Many of our past guests have commented that the house is “in a great location,” that they “enjoyed the peaceful country roads,” and that it is “just far enough from the fields and downtown to be relaxing.” I encourage anyone considering our home to review the address and map it to ensure it is the right fit before reserving.
Temperature: Our listing states that the house does provide an air conditioning window unit as well as fans. The home is compact, so both air conditioning and heating circulate through the rooms without issue. Weather in upstate New York can be unpredictable—this year we’ve had some guests use air conditioning and others turn on the heat within the same week. In the past, we have never had complaints about the home being uncomfortable.
Water Issue: You arrived Sunday evening but did not reach out until Monday morning, July 7th, to let me know the water was discolored. I responded within five minutes, explained that a new well had been installed a few weeks earlier with no prior issues, my dad had just been there days before and the water was clear, I apologized, and assured you that my husband would call the well company immediately. I did say run the water in the meantime until we get ahold of the well company. The well company came first thing Tuesday morning. Because we felt so badly about your first night, we also contacted you and offered to buy your family dinner, but you declined. While I completely understand how inconvenient this must have been, I do wish I had been informed on Sunday evening so the issue could have been addressed even sooner. If I would have known Sunday, upon your arrival, it would have been likely that the well company could have come Monday morning.
I take pride in maintaining this home and responding promptly to any problems. I always want my guests to feel comfortable and supported, and I regret that your experience did not meet your expectations. However, I also encourage all guests to carefully review the listing details—including the exact address—before booking so that they can be sure the location and amenities are the right fit for their stay. I would suggest that anyone booking a location for a vacation, whether it is a house rental or a hotel, check the location and see if the location and address are where they would like to be. Thank you for your stay, I will consider all feedback for the future!
Nice cottage in a beautiful area at a great price. We were here for a tournament at Cooperstown Dreamspark. It was a bit of a longer drive than we expected, about 30 minutes each way. Overall, a great experience.
Krystina is an amazing host with an absolutely beautiful property. From check in to check out our entire experience was seamless. From waking up to wildlife in the morning to go from seeing stars at night, it was a perfect getaway from the outside noise of baseball. Krystina was very attentive and quick to respond if we had any questions, and the property was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Thank you for being part of an incredible experience!
