The only thing I have as an improvement is some of the beds were really high up and my parents had a hard time getting in them. They were super comfortable though. The only other thing is the knives were very dull and you couldn’t cut anything with them. It was a beautiful spot and the view was spectacular. My family really enjoyed the place and the stay.
Beautiful lake views, house was spotless. The host Jamie was very friendly and helpful, kitchen had everything to make your stay enjoyable and we enjoyed the kayaks!! Highly recommend the Loeb Lake house!
Ideal location for a wedding at Castle Farms. Beautiful lakefront and how was overall very comfortable and Keith and Ashley were always quick to respond to messages.
This was a great house for a multi-generation family vacation. Couldn’t beat the beach and shallow lake area, especially for the younger kids. Location to Charlevoix was very convenient. Property manager was also great and helpful for any questions. We had a wonderful visit and would definitely recommend the Loeb Lake House!
The house was just as described, being situated on a nice beach with great lake views. The hosts were helpful and nice. Highly recommended if looking for an Up North rental on a lake.
Great property! Fantastic beach front! Jamie, the house manager was.helpful and kind. And the owner communication was timely and complete! Thanks for the memories!!
Property was ready and very clean. Very comfortable for family gathering. Adequately stock kitchen made meal prep easy. Interior linens clean and ready for use. Exterior awesome, great beach, really nice deck, fantastic experience.
Beautiful property! The water is extremely clear and calm, with a sandy bottom. Perfect for small children to play in. The yard and deck are great. The house is very private and the neighborhood is quiet. The owners and property managers are very responsive. The house is packed with equipment (beach chairs, toys of every kind, life jackets, kayaks, etc.) - your kids will not be bored.
Great place to stay right on Lake Charlevoix with sandy beach. Spacious home, private and quiet. Close to town. Enjoyed using the three kayaks provided.
This property was as-advertised. It’s a lovely house in a very special location. The property manager (next door) was helpful, knows the area and provided good local information- we really liked her.
While at our time up north, this property provided more than enough reasons to book for next year. So much room It really made us wanna book for a whole week next time such an amazing experience, the host provided the best time ever can’t think to host enough.
We loved our week at this cottage. Unbeatable water access right on Lake Charlevoix. Also lots of space to host a family of 7. The master bedroom is the best room in the house. Tons of natural light and lake views for miles. Highly recommend this place!
Perfect spot for bridesmaids to stay the night and have awesome getting ready photos before a castle farms wedding. Minimal parking for being able to accommodate so many guests but other than that it was perfect
The home is perfect for large family gatherings. We played in the warm lake. Made wonderful dinners in the well stocked kitchen and played many games. Can I just say the view from this home is gorgeous and location is close to town. We loved our time here.
We stayed at Loeb Lake House for a weekend to attend a wedding at Castle Farms. There could not be a better location. This place was fantastic - it had everything we could have needed. The beds were very comfy and Ashley was attentive, quick to respond, and made us feel at home. The space is very charming and we did not want to leave.

Thank you Joe! We loved having you stay at our home. Please come back anytime.
Thank you for sharing your incredible house with us! We had a fantastic week. The house is gorgeous, comfortable and very well stocked with anything you might need or want.
This is a very comfortable home with a great view. Owner recently did significant upgrades so the home feels new. The property manager(Jamie) was incredible hospitable and made our trip comfortable and peaceful. We will defiantly stay at this home again.
Beautiful home. Beach is incredible. Spotless. Great lay out. Unfortunately, we were there during the hottest days of the year. A/c in bedrooms helped. We loved the shallow water!!!
We had a great time at Loeb Lake House. The property has a great layout, was very clean, and close to our favorite Northern MI spots. Both the owner and local manager were very helpful and attentive. One item to note, there is no central air although each bedroom has air conditioners that provide ample cool air. If you’re looking for a spot very near Charlevoix, we recommend checking out Loeb Lake House.
I had a great time at Loeb Lake House. It was very close to all the amenities and great restaurants downtown. At the same time the house is on a beautiful secluded private road with only a few other houses for a nice serene retreat. I loved waking up to the sunrise over the lake. Lake views are amazing from the home. We got married at Castle Farms a few years ago. Charlevoix will always be a special place in my heart and will definitely be back to the Loeb Lake House.
Great location and fantastic lakefront property, just minutes to downtown Charlevoix, yet peacefully tucked away on Loeb Bay where you get all the benefits of the lake, great swimming with a sandy bottom and beach that can be hard to come by. Home was clean and well appointed with an awesome deck that was well furnished with awesome views and easily our favorite feature. Loved having the kayaks available and enjoyed paddling the bay and evenings around the fire pit were hard to beat. With my niece getting married at Castle Farms, we decided to take the week and make a vacation of it and, for two couples, the location and accommodations were perfect. the kindness and responsiveness of our hosts and their neighbors was a big plus. Thank you for welcoming us into your home and helping us make it an unforgettable week for our family!
