Just steps to New Marina and Park, walk to Restaurants, Shopping, Farmers Market, and Charlevoix's beautiful beaches! Watch spectacular Venetian Fireworks, boats and sunrises from the enclosed deck! Heated garage makes parking in town a snap. Park the car and walk Everywhere. Beach is a beautiful walk down the Pine River Channel to the Lighthouse without setting foot on a city street. There is not a better location in Charlevoix.

The crown jewel of the north, East Park sits in the heart of downtown Charlevoix and is 50 yards from the front door of the condo. Renovated in 2008, the park is beautifully kept and the ideal location for a family picnic or community event. Nestled between the downtown shopping district and the Round Lake Yacht basin, East Park features the Odmark Music Pavilion where the Summer Concert Series takes place. Bring a towel because children of all ages will enjoy cooling off in the Fountain of Youth, a 30' diameter heated interactive water fountain with multiple water nozzles and choreographed lighting and music. Additionally, the East Park Trout Habitat is a fully functioning trout ecosystem. The habitat is designed to replicate the conditions found in a northern Michigan trout stream.

Great Experience

Huge lovely condo!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The condo is huge, and even lovelier than the pictures. Very clean as well. We had everything we needed there. We especially appreciated the abundance of towels in bathrooms & kitchen, lots of towel bars & hooks, and huge closets! It’s a good location, you can walk to anything you want in downtown Charlevoix, East park on Round Lake & the marina, or to Lake Michigan beach & the gorgeous red lighthouse! It’s also a good base location for exploring the other areas such as Petoskey (great beach at the state park, great shops, and check out Roast & Toast Cafe downtown), Harbor Springs (adorable, quiet, upscale area), Boyne City (dinner at Cafe Sante was delicious, go early to take advantage of the great happy hour specials), Mackinac Island (the ferry over to the island is so fun, rent bikes to explore the island!). Oh and if you like to bike, definitely check out Little Traverse Wheelway! It’s 26 miles of mostly flat riding along the beautiful Little Traverse Bay/ Lake MI! The best food we had in Charlevoix was the fresh fish from John cross fisheries! We had everything we needed to bake it at the condo, and we got lots of fresh veggies, cheese,& bread from the farmers mkt (in East Park on thurs am) and had a wonderful dinner at “home”. The only negative we could say about the condo is no one’s fault, merely the fact that because you are right downtown next to restaurants you hear food delivery trucks early in the morning during the week. Nothing you can really do about this, we maybe only noticed it more because we live in the quiet country, not town/ city.

A great family get away!!

The place was exactly as it says! Super close to so much ! The place itself is big and nice! The walk to the pier was close and my kids enjoyed fishing and walking around the shops ! The area was beautiful ! Everything was amazing and we will be back! Garage is a perk/ we did have a large truck that didn’t fit but if your car does fit , it helps a ton! Totally recommend this property !

Beautiful Setting- comfy condo

The condo was lovely, well equipped and clean with a wonderful view of Round Lake. We are frequent visitors to the area and made good use of the condo's central location to many of the activities we enjoy. We came for a family reunion. Our only concern is that the condo was listed as "accessible" (my only search factor). The owner advised us of a step to get to the elevator but it was more than a regular step and would have been impossible to negotiate with a wheelchair. Closer inspection of the photos showed that the bathrooms could not be made accessible for someone requiring assistance with transfers. I was prepared to bring a shower chair and potty raiser to make it work, but the shower door would have prevented assisted transfers. For this and other reasons, my husband opted out of the trip.

Boyne Thunder Weekend on Round Lake!

This place was the perfect location to take in all excitement in Round Lake for Boyne Thunder! We kept our boat at the Charlevoix City Marina which is just steps away. The location to downtown Charlevoix can’t be beat. Everything is within walking distance(grocery store/coffee shop/party store/restaurants). We enjoyed waking up every morning and drinking our coffee on the patio, watching boats come and go as the sun came up over Round Lake. After breakfast we would head out to the boat. We would come back and grill/make dinner at the condo before heading out for a sunset cruise out on Lake MI or to town for a few drinks. The condo has great views of Round Lake from the living room, kitchen, patio and master bedroom. I believe the pictures on VRBO do not do it justice. Tall ceilings and spacious rooms makes this condo feel quite large and luxury! The host was quick to respond with any questions or concerns we had both before and during our stay. My only suggestion/heads up would be: a few more options for cooking/frying pans in the kitchen. A few times we went to sauté veggies or cook breakfast and we had to use multiple smaller pans in order to fit everything. If you have a larger truck, it will not fit in the garage. This was not an issue for us as the marina provided free parking several blocks away. However there was a couple times throughout the week where we had wished we could park closer. These were not deal breakers. We would absolutely stay here again!

Lovely Lakeside Lodging

The unit far exceeded expectations -- it was much bigger than it appeared in the pictures, was in the best location in town, and had an amazing view (and all-weather room to enjoy it in!). A fully-stocked kitchen, prime garage parking, and well-appointed decor that made us feel right at home. The host was super responsive and accomodating, and we really enjoyed our stay. Highly, highly recommend!

Great Fall Getaway

As our trip was in late October and early November, we thought we may have missed the fall colors. However a trip through the tunnel of trees was wonderful. Almost no traffic. Had plenty of time to take plenty of photos. We walked the beaches several times in search of Petoskey stones. The condo was neat and clean, loved the lay out. Plenty of room. Had a few small problems. The owner was very responsive and helpful.

I have been vacationing in Charlevoix for 30 years (and I'm only 35:) first with my parents and now with my husband and children. Whatever the season, it is truly an amazing place! Although we enjoy our home in Spring Lake, MI, we do our very best to get 'up north' to Charlevoix, the Beautiful, as often as possible. We all enjoy the beaches, restaurants, shopping, boating, marinas, golfing, library, orchards, festivals, neighboring towns, etc. We're so fortunate to have found this property located precisely where we wanted it: just a block from the beach (the sunsets are INCREDIBLE) and a few blocks from downtown (Bridge Street). In the winter, we take advantage of skiing at Nubs Nob, Boyne Highlands/Mountain and sledding/ice skating locally at Mt McSauba.
